🍔🌯🧀🍹 Cardiff Food and Drink Festival is BACK!

Returning to Cardiff Bay from 3–5 July, this much-loved festival will once again bring together an exciting mix of local favourites, new traders, and incredible flavours.

Set in Roald Dahl Plass, the festival showcases the very best of Welsh produce alongside global street food, offering something for every taste – and you can now explore the full list of traders ahead of the event.

Alongside the food, visitors can enjoy a packed programme of live music across all three days, featuring everything from indie and folk to reggae, funk and more. 🎵

Two major concerts are coming to Principality Stadium this summer:

📅 Take That – Tuesday 16 June
📅 Metallica – Sunday 28 June

To keep everyone safe, there will be a full road closure around the stadium from 3pm to midnight on both dates.

Key Travel Advice
• The M4 is expected to be very busy – please plan ahead.
• Arrive early to avoid delays.
• Consider using the Park & Ride instead of driving into the city centre.
• Check traffic updates via Traffic Wales or Traffic Wales South - Traffig Cymru De

Road Closures
• City centre roads will close from 3pm to midnight, including St Mary Street, Wood Street, Westgate Street and surrounding areas.
• Scott Road and Park Street will close from 7am.
• Additional closures will affect access near the train station and Civic Centre.
• Penarth Road will close shortly before and after the concerts finish.

Trains
• Extra trains will run, but services are expected to be very busy.
• A queuing system will be in place at Cardiff Central and Queen Street stations from around 9:45pm.
• Buy your ticket before joining queues.

Park & Ride
• Take That (16 June): Cardiff City Stadium (Leckwith) – £15 per car
• Metallica (28 June): Sports Village (Cardiff Bay) – £15 per car
• First buses from 10:30am, last return buses at midnight.

Event Parking
• Event parking is available at both the Civic Centre and Sophia Gardens
• Cost: £20 payable on the day for cars and £30 for coaches.
