🌞 Lambing time has been in full swing here on the farm and we've been so lucky with the weather 🌞.

We have a few more grey hairs to add to the collection and are definitely looking a little weary 🥴 so we must be coming to the end of lambing 2025 🐑 and what a season it's been.

💜 Visitors to Damson Barn are now surrounded by sheep with lambs at foot in the fields 🤩 always respectful of the girl sheep bringing new life into the world while the boy sheep chill out on the deck chairs with a beer 😂.

✨️ The hot tub here at Damson Barn has had a glow up ✨️ some lovely new festoon lights to brighten up and beat those January blues 💜.

💜 On the farm, we've been busy scanning the girl sheep this week to get an idea of how many lambs will be arriving in a couple of months 🐑. This allows us to feed them and look after them accordingly (those with more lambs in their tummies need that bit more looking after 💕).

❤️💙🧡💛💚 Look at all those lovely colourful bottoms too 🤩, these colours allow us to get a more accurate idea of when their lambs will be due, as they come in to the lambing shed in stages 🥰.

We even had a sprinkling of snow last week ☃️ giving us a gentle nudge into the festive season ❄️.

Hearing the Northern Lights were around, me and the kids jumped in the car and popped up the fell above Damson Barn, High Casterton and caught a glimpse of them 💚, not visible with the naked eye, but an amazing vision through the camera lens 🤩.

❄️ Throwback to a week ago when the snow had fallen and my friend suggested an early start to catch a sunrise on Ingleborough 💛, obviously I was late setting off 🤦🏼‍♀️ so the sun had started to rise before we got to the top but what a beauty Ingleborough was in the snow and the sun 🥰.

💜 We are so lucky here at Damson Barn to be located perfectly for so much beautiful scenery nestled between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, and in my opinion the Dales are hard to beat. The Yorkshire Three Peaks provide a great challenge for anyone who loves a walk and the scenery on a good day is just perfection 👌.

💜 Scanning day yesterday here at Fell Gate, must mean lambing time is getting closer 🐑. And no matter how many times our lovely scanning man tries to show me the lambs on the screen I can never see them 🤦🏼‍♀️. Our ewes are looking well and growing some lovely lambs despite the awful weather we've been having. Hopefully getting it out of its system and we'll get some nice weather for lambing time ☀️. 💜

🐑 Lambing begins mid March, so for those wanting to see lots of new life in spring, I would advise booking after then 😍. Xx
