💙 Throwback to 7 years ago when we decided to start our business!

😲 We found ourselves in our 50's, selling up, moving accross country, buying our first Narrowboat and stripping it back to the shell, ready to realise our dream!!

⚾️ I'd like to say it was 'plain sailing' from here but life sometimes throws you a few curve balls!

😬 Add a couple of heart attacks, seizures, a brain tumour and a world wide pandemic to the mix and you can imagine things were a bit 'choppy' at times!

🌞 BUT, we are still here, pushing on, growing our little business, improving our offering, pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones, learning new things, meeting some lovely humans and helping people experience the beautiful Lancaster ca**l by Narrowboat!

❤ We love the community here and have met some lovely people, many have gone above and beyond to help us and kept us relatively sane! We hope they know they are appreciated 💙

Just a little update to say that both Little secret (2berth) and Duckling (4berth) now have very limited availability for this summer. This is in part due to deferrals from last year, however both boats have good availability in October if you fancy an autumn break. A walk we did often before lockdown- From Tewitfield marina up the 8 disused locks to where the motorway was built accross the Lancaster ca**l, its a good walk and you can go under the motorway, rejoin the ca**l and walk all the way to Kendal! Some parts of the ca**l, beyond the motorway, have started being rebuilt, the long term plan was to reconnect the Ca**l to Kendal. You can find out more at https://www.lctrust.co.uk/
