So after a long long long week at work, we finally arrived after annoying M6 roadworks( but necessary) we went for a fantastic meal to welcome us back to the area. Thankyou to Borgue Hotel as usual for a fantastic tea. P.s if you haven’t had the fish pie you haven’t lived! Thanks go out out to the staff and Martin and Michelle! Always a friendly welcome. ❤️It’s a maintenance weekend and hoping for a Bbq tomorrow weather permitting. The end of the day was finalised by a wonderful Carrick Sunset! What a blessing 🌅

Precious time with Mum , glorious weather and so nice to catch up with everyone. We both managed a 5km run and a swim , crikey it seemed very cold! Till next time x

The sunsets have been stunning and the sea is as warm as it will be, fancy a last minute holiday in the borders of Bonny Scotland. Perfect walking area and close to the seven stains mountain biking zone and really safe bay for paddle boarding/ wind surfing or playing with the little ones from the safety of carrick bay?
We have a last minute availability for 29th August for the week.

So nice to spend time with family and great friends 💕Well it said rain all weekend !!!
Apparently we would get rain all day!!! they got that wrong didn’t they! 🤣🤣🤣Thankyou to our amazing Gulf Stream we didn’t receive a single drop.
We all enjoyed a few hours weeding at The Great Escape working to spruce up the garden and a spring tidy up followed up later with a a lovely walk from Kirkcudbright to Tongland Bridge in the sunshine. A cheeky pint in the beer garden in the afternoon at The Garett followed up with a swim in Carrick Bay 💕🥰.
When you are blessed you enjoy every minute and appreciate every second of it 😀
We followed it up by a wonderful meal at the Borgue Hotel as usual( thanks to the most hospitable landlord and lady you could ever wish to meet).
Dominoes and friendship at home , what’s not to love 💕💕💕💕it’s Such a mild evening and the sound of the sea is so peaceful to lull us all to sleep. Thankyou Carrick we had a lovely day 💕

What a wonderful walk back from the Borgue Hotel on a full moon. With full tummy’s from the wonderful Chef Michelle and a pint from the fabulous landlord Martin. We Stargazed the whole way home. ⭐️💕 what a spooky view of our local

What a difference a day can make! From wonderful sunshine and blue skies to the most amazing waves I’ve seen at carrick for a long time. You could have had a great day actually surfing.🏄‍♀️🏄🏽‍♂️🏄
