✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨

Ageing well isn’t about trying to stay young forever… it’s about staying strong, mobile, independent and full of life 💪

One of the biggest risks as we get older is frailty — losing muscle, balance, strength and confidence in our bodies. The good news? So much of it can be prevented with simple daily habits 👇
✅ Prioritise protein
✅ Keep moving every day
✅ Strength train regularly
✅ Stay hydrated
✅ Sleep and recover well
✅ Look after your bones and joints
✅ Keep your mind and social life active

Muscle is your “longevity organ” — the more we protect it as we age, the better quality of life we can have later on 🙌

It’s never too early or too late to start taking care of future you ❤️

Growing older is a privilege. Let’s do it strong, healthy and capable ✨

✨ CLIENT WIN ✨
I’m so proud of Mira 💛

A few months ago, she was told she may need to go onto statins and blood pressure medication. Instead of feeling defeated, she made the decision to take control of what she could control — her lifestyle 👏

Since January she has:
🥗 Improved her nutrition
💪 Increased her protein intake
🚶‍♀️ Moved more consistently
⚖️ Lost an incredible 5kg on her healthy weight loss journey
And the result? 🙌

She’s just had her bloods and blood pressure checked again and has been told she no longer needs medication 🎉
Mira knows this has come from the consistent lifestyle changes she’s made, and she’s worked incredibly hard for these results.

This is exactly why I’m so passionate about helping people build healthier habits — small changes, repeated consistently, can have such a huge impact over time 💛

So proud of you Mira 👏💚

✨ WELLNESS WEDNESDAY ✨

Grief doesn’t always look like tears.
Sometimes it looks like exhaustion.
Brain fog.
Feeling disconnected.
Lack of motivation.
Wanting to stay busy so you don’t have to think.

There’s no timeline for grief and no “right” way to go through it. Some days you cope well, other days the smallest thing can hit you all over again. Both are normal.

One of the most important things during difficult times is being gentle with yourself. Not every day has to be productive. Sometimes getting through the day is enough.

Try to remember the basics:
💛 Drink water
💛 Eat nourishing food
💛 Get outside for fresh air
💛 Rest when you need to
💛 Talk to someone you trust
💛 Accept support when it’s offered

Healing isn’t about “moving on” — it’s about learning to carry love and loss together.

If you’re grieving right now, be patient with yourself. One day at a time 🤍

✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨

Today is all about caring for the carer 💛

So many of us spend our days looking after everyone else — family, friends, clients — always giving, always showing up. But here’s the truth… you can’t pour from an empty cup ☕
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish, it’s essential. When you prioritise your own wellbeing, you have more energy, patience, and strength to support the people who need you most 💫

This could be as simple as:
💧 Drinking enough water
🥗 Nourishing your body properly
🚶‍♀️ Taking a walk for some fresh air
😴 Getting quality sleep
🧠 Taking a moment to pause and breathe

Remember — you matter too. Your health, your happiness, your energy… they all count ❤️
So today, ask yourself: What do I need? And give yourself permission to take it 🌿

Because the best way to care for others… is to care for you first 💕

✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨

Let’s talk about something that often gets overlooked… gut health 💛

Your gut does so much more than just digest food — it plays a huge role in your energy levels, immune system, mood and even weight management.

When your gut is happy, everything else tends to feel better too 🙌

Here are some simple ways to support it 👇
💛 Eat more fibre – think vegetables, fruits, whole grains and beans
💛 Include a variety of foods – diversity helps feed good gut bacteria
💛 Stay hydrated – water supports healthy digestion
💛 Add fermented foods – like yoghurt, kefir or sauerkraut
💛 Manage stress – your gut and brain are closely connected
💛 Don’t rush your meals – slow down and chew properly

Small, consistent habits can make a big
difference to how you feel day to day 💫

Your gut is at the centre of your wellbeing — look after it, and it will look after you 💛

✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨

Let’s talk about something we all experience… stress.

Stress isn’t always a bad thing – it’s your body’s natural response to pressure. But when it becomes constant, it can impact your sleep, hormones, digestion, energy levels and even fat loss.

Here are a few simple ways to manage it better 👇

💛 Breathe with intention – even 5 minutes of slow, deep breathing can calm your nervous system
💛 Get outside – fresh air and natural light work wonders for your mood
💛 Move your body – a walk, stretch or workout helps release built-up tension
💛 Prioritise sleep – your body can’t recover properly without it
💛 Watch your caffeine – too much can increase feelings of anxiety
💛 Talk it out – don’t keep everything bottled up

Remember… you can’t always control what’s happening around you, but you can control how you support your body through it.

Small daily habits make a big difference 💫

✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨

Let’s talk about something we all need but often don’t prioritise… sleep 😴

Sleep isn’t just about feeling rested, it plays a huge role in your overall wellbeing. From supporting your immune system and balancing hormones, to helping with weight management, mood, and focus… quality sleep is powerful 💫

If you’re constantly feeling tired, craving sugar, or struggling with energy levels, your sleep could be the missing piece.

Here are a few simple tips to improve your sleep:
🌙 Create a consistent bedtime routine
📵 Reduce screen time before bed
🫖 Avoid caffeine late in the day
🛏️ Keep your bedroom cool, dark, and calm
🧠 Try to unwind your mind (reading, journaling, or breathing exercises)

Remember, you don’t have to do everything perfectly, small changes can make a big difference over time 💛

Your body does so much for you every day… give it the rest it deserves.

If better sleep is something you’re working on, drop a 😴 below or message me — I’m always here to support you on your wellness journey.

💧 Wellness Wednesday: Are You Actually Drinking Enough Water? 💧

This might sound simple… but hydration is one of the most overlooked parts of feeling good.
If you’ve been feeling:
✨ Tired or low on energy
✨ Hungry all the time (even after eating!)
✨ Sluggish or struggling to focus
✨ Experiencing headaches or dull skin

There’s a good chance your body is just asking for more water.
Even mild dehydration can affect how your body functions – from your energy levels to your metabolism and even how your body holds onto fat.

Since focusing on my own wellbeing, making hydration a priority has made such a difference. I feel more energised, less bloated, and much more in control of my appetite.

💡 Simple tips to improve your hydration:
💧Start your day with a big glass of water before anything else
💧Keep a bottle with you (if it’s there, you’ll drink it!)
💧Add fresh lemon, cucumber or berries to make it more enjoyable
💧Don’t wait until you’re thirsty – that’s already a sign you’re dehydrated

A good guide is around 2–3 litres a day, but it can vary depending on your body and activity levels.
Small habits = big changes 💚

If you’re working on your health right now and want a bit of support, guidance or accountability, feel free to message me – I’d love to help.

I honestly thought my waist had disappeared for good…
You know how people say it’s just part of getting older? I’d pretty much accepted that my shape had changed and that was that.

But over the last few months something surprising has happened.

My waist has come back, the back fat that used to bother me has reduced loads, and the biggest change of all… I feel full of energy again - real, get-up-and-go energy.

I feel stronger, more confident in my clothes, and genuinely happier in myself. And I didn’t realise just how much that would affect everything else in my life too.

The experience has been so powerful for me that it’s inspired me to start training as a wellness coach, because I’d love to help other people feel this good too.

As part of my training I’m looking for a small number of people to do coached and supervised wellness evaluations with.
If you’re someone who would like to:
✨ Feel more energetic
✨ Improve your health and wellbeing
✨ Change your shape
✨ Feel more confident again
Then I’d love to help.

Just comment “INFO” below or send me a message and I’ll tell you how it works.
