The stunning Spiritual Variant on the Camino Portuguese
ABOUT THE ROUTE
Are you ready to experience this wonderful route on the Spanish side of the Camino
Portuguese?
This 110 km route (plus a 36 km boat ride into Padron) is stunning, you will be walking along some of the most breath-taking coastline in Northern Spain before heading inland to join the stone and water route through the tranquil Spiritual Variant (Variante
Espiritual).
This route is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Galicia and promises some
incredible views but don´t be fooled, the hilly terrain does involve some challenges and some extra effort from you (and plenty of photograph stops).
Still, imagine how proud you will feel as you walk into Santiago and claim your welldeserved Compostela.

↗️Group: Women only, average ages 45 to 80 years of age (though this isn't set in stone)
➡️Difficulty: Mostly Medium but with some fairly challenging inclines we always recommend some physical preparation and will advise you.

➡️Which airport?
Vigo (Peinador, VGO) is the closest. You can also fly into Porto (Francisco Sá Carneiro) or
Santiago (Rosalía de Castro) and take a bus to Vigo
