My absolute favourite photo of Swaledale that I've taken; this was a bitterly cold morning with a heavy frost in the bottom of the valley.
I just love how the muted colours made the last of the autumnal leaves pop. ❄️🍁❄️

𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗞 - 𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗘

The waters of Brandstone Beck flows along both an open and partially wooded valley towards Brandstone Dub Bridge where above and below the stone arched it tumbles over both sloping and vertical shelving with the main fall being a little over 5 feet in height into an open pool probably used as an old sheep wash in times past

*LOCATION*
These small falls in a picturesque setting can easily be reached along the lane off the B6265 just past Greenhow village from Coldstones Cut parking area towards Coldstonesfold Farm to turn left at Hillend Farm, along a well defined track towards the falls seen prominently on the approach
