On Friday 9 October, we’re bringing together a few of the people behind the Causeway Coast’s food and drink scene for an evening of good food, perfect pairings with drinks and conversation at the Bayview Hotel, Portballintrae 😍

Four courses from Kevin Farren and the Bayview team, paired with drinks from Dunluce Distillery, plus a grazing table from Seasons of the Glens.

But it’s also about the people behind what’s on the table — Simon Hogg, Kevin Farren, Shauna McFall and myself, sharing a little of the story, provenance and passion behind our local food and drink community.

Expect great food. Exceptional local drinks. A relaxed evening in good company.

I’m incredibly excited to announce A Table By The Shore — a very special evening celebrating the people, produce and flavours of the incredible Causeway Coast.

Chefs, producers, growers, makers, distillers and food lovers, all coming together with the same passion: to celebrate this incredible part of the world and the people who make it so special.

Working alongside Chef Kevin Farren, Bayview Hotel, Portballintrae, Causeway Coast Foodie Tours and Seasons of the Glens, we’re bringing local producers and growers, all around one table, in the place we’re proud to call home.

We’ll be creating an immersive evening of exceptional local food, Dunluce Distillery spirits, storytelling and, most importantly, community.

I’m genuinely proud to be part of this and can’t wait to share the story behind Dunluce Distillery, our spirits and the coast that inspires us.

After hosting tours around the Causeway Speciality Market for the past 10 years, it feels very special to now be stepping into the role as compere for the trader demos for this amazing 20 year market celebration 🎉

I'll be there this Saturday from 10.00 - 12.00pm & 2.00 - 4.00pm, chatting to some of the fantastic traders, sharing their stories, and bringing the market to life throughout the day ✨️

This market has always been a huge part of what I do - showcasing the very best of our local makers, producers and passionate traders. I've had the privilege of introducing visitors from all over the world to this market, so to now be part of the event itself is just brilliant 🌟

As much as it was tough making the decision to close one chapter, I know in my heart the right decision has been made.

This is my daily reading for today, so I think others are letting me know too ❤️

📢 Business update

After 10 amazing years of running my business, I've made a personal decision to take a bit of a pause for this summer and in Autumn, continue in a slighty different direction (more news on that to come later 🥰).

Recently, our son received a new diagnosis of Malan Syndrome, and I would like to take the time to focus fully on him and our family. Those who know me will understand this has always been at the heart of everything I do.

This business brings me so much joy - the people I've met, the experiences shared, and the memories created along the way have meant more than I can say. I really am very proud of what has been built and so grateful for all the support over the years.

For now, I'm pressing pause to focus where I'm needed most.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on the tours journey - it truly means the world 🤍
