St Patricks history runs deep in the roots of Llanlliana. Legend has it that St Patrick was shipwrecked and marooned on Middle Mouse Island- now known as Ynys Badrig (St Patricks's Island)- which is part of Llanlliana Grounds.

St Patrick did eventually swim to shore and found sanctuary in a cave that lies in the cliffs called, Ogof Padrig (Patricks Cave).

It is said that St Patrick then went on and built the church of Llanbadrig in thanksgiving for his deliverance which is just a short walk away from Llanliana Coastal Retreat

Llanlliana's roots run deep in the soil of a once-thriving daffodil and potato farm! ๐ŸŒผ Before it became the enchanting retreat it is today, Llanlliana bloomed with rows upon rows of golden daffodils, while the daffodils have since danced away, their legacy lives on in the beauty and serenity of this cherished locale.
