Filey Bay Caravans was set up in 2011 by Richard as a family friendly run caravan holiday provider on the idyllic North Yorkshire coast near Filey. Richard has always loved the freedom and unique atmosphere that comes from a caravan holiday, and wanted his business to provide affordable, first-class family holidays that make memories for years to come. It is the little things that make a good holi

day great, so from the beginning Filey Bay Caravans has been based on friendly, personal customer service, with the team always aiming to go the extra mile to ensure each customer has great value for money and an enjoyable holiday. The business began on Haven’s holiday park on Reighton sands and has since expanded to include caravans on other sites along the North Yorkshire coast. Filey Bay Caravans is now able to offer caravans on all Haven caravan sites in the area. Located at the heart of historic Yorkshire, we are within easy reach of dozens of activities, festivals and family days out, including York, Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, the North York moors and many other surrounding attractions. With on-site facilities including heated indoor swimming pools, family entertainment clubs and bars, restaurants, guest terrace and shops, on-site beaches, there will always be something fun to get involved with, whether you are visiting for a weekend break a week or a fortnight’s family holiday.

Who is heading for the beach this weekend? Don’t forget the sun cream

Follow these tips from our HM Coastguard friends to stay safe and enjoy your time by the sea:

1. Know your flags and signs – these are placed to inform you of any potential hazards, wind conditions, and safe swimming zones ⚠️

2. Check in advance – choose a beach that is patrolled by lifeguards 🏖️

3. Decide on a meeting point – choose a clear and memorable meeting point with your group in case you get separated or lost 📍

4. Be cautious of rip currents – they can be difficult to spot and quickly pull you into deep water regardless of your swimming ability 🌊

5. Leave inflatables at home – they are at high risk of being swept away by currents or offshore winds 🦄

In an emergency at the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

Filey Bay Caravans are looking for cleaning staff to assist with preparing our caravans for our customers.

☑️ Experience not essential as full training will be given but you must have an eye for detail as we want our caravans cleaning to the highest of standards.

☑️ We would prefer you to have your own transport as we operate on a number of holiday parks in the Yorkshire area.

☑️ We would also prefer if you lived in the Filey / Scarborough / Bridlington area.
