🚢 Ship Visit – Azamara Journey in Dover 🌊

Today I had the pleasure of visiting the elegant Azamara Journey while she was docked in Dover, and what a treat it was! ✨

This small, stylish ship offers a more intimate cruising experience – think fewer crowds, personalised service, and the ability to visit ports that larger ships simply can’t reach. 🛳️💙

A few quick facts:
✔️ Around 700 guests onboard – a perfect size for relaxed, boutique-style cruising
✔️ Destination-focused itineraries with longer stays and more overnights in port

A fabulous day of luxury learning with Silversea Cruises ✨🚢

Yesterday was all about deepening my knowledge with the ultra-luxury cruise line Silversea – and what a brilliant day it was!

I had the pleasure of meeting the legendary Peter Shanks, who (not that he’s counting, of course… 👀) retires in just 28 days. A true icon in the cruise world.

We also briefly meet Andreas ‘Andy’ Nuessel who will be taking on the Managing Director role, for UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, in addition to continuing as managing director for Europe. Pierre an Expedition BDM, who transported us (in spirit, sadly not in zodiac) to Antarctica, the Galápagos Islands, and gave us a teaser of the Arctic. Incredible destinations delivered in true Silversea style – luxurious, immersive and unforgettable.

Everyone keeps asking where I’m going... well, it’s finally time to share!

Thanks to the amazing team at , Louise and I (sorry, Mike 😅) are heading off on an unforgettable Arctic adventure to Iceland and Greenland aboard the Ultramarine.

But wait! I can’t go to Iceland and not see my friends at ! So we’re flying out a little earlier to make the most of it with:

🧖‍♀️ A relaxing soak in the Blue Lagoon
🍽️ An epic Icelandic food tour
❄️ The Golden Circle by snowmobile (yes, snowmobile!!)

Then it’s on to Greenland where the adventure continues:

🚢✨ Ship Visit: Independence of the Seas 🇬🇧⚓

I had the absolute pleasure of stepping aboard the stunning Independence of the Seas yesterday— and what a day it was! From exploring the vibrant Royal Promenade to checking out the top-deck activities, every corner of the ship delivered something special. 🌊🛳️

As a real treat, we were given a sneak peek of Grease the musical – the ship’s dazzling onboard production 🎭🎶. An incredible performance that gave me just a taste of the full show, and it truly brought the stage to life. Such energy and talent – a must-see at sea!

Massive thanks to Royal Caribbean for the warm welcome and unforgettable experience. 💙

Ship visit today aboard the beautiful P&O Britannia! 🛳️✨

Hard to believe she’s already 10 years old – she still turns heads like the day she launched. Britannia had a sparkling refit just last year, and it shows – from the gleaming atrium to the refreshed cabins, she’s looking absolutely shipshape.

This visit was especially nostalgic for me, as I had some very special clients sail on her maiden voyage back in 2015 – what a moment that was! Feels like a full-circle kind of day seeing her in such fine form.

Whether you’re dreaming of a sunny Mediterranean escape or a relaxing cruise closer to home, Britannia is still a fantastic choice – elegance, entertainment, and a great British cuppa at sea. ☕🇬🇧
