Do we sometimes overlook what is right on our doorstep?

Most of the holidays I arrange take my clients overseas, whether that is by plane, rail, ocean cruise or river cruise.

But travel does not always need to start at an airport.

There are some incredible places to discover across the UK too and I have realised I probably do not talk about them enough.

A luxury hotel for a special weekend, a great food escape, a few nights by the coast, a countryside retreat or simply somewhere completely different for a couple of days away.

When you come to me, I want you to think travel, not just overseas holidays or cruises.
