EASYJET TO RUN COURSE AND SPECIAL FLIGHT FOR PEOPLE WITH A FEAR OF FLYING AT LONDON SOUTHEND AIRPORT

EasyJet have announced that they will shortly be running a training course and a special flight to help people overcome their fear of flying.

The package starts with a ‘virtual ground course’ that you can study at home to learn more about coping techniques and everything that can happen at various stages during a flight. This includes take off, landing, the noises you will hear, turbulence, and more.

This is followed by a Zoom call with specialists and a pilot about everything including the airport experience, and then on Sunday 1st June 2025 course attendees (and an optional companion) will take a dedicated one-hour flight from and back to London Southend with an extra pilot on hand in the cabin to provide commentary. The flight will also include other activities to make nervous passengers as relaxed as possible. After this, it’s back to the terminal for the graduation ceremony.
