“My husband and I spent a wonderful, memorable day with Mark touring The Cotswolds. It was my husband's first time visiting the area and my second. (We're from New York.) The day was perfect!
Mark met us in his large, comfortable vehicle right on time. He'd planned out the day perfectly, avoiding the traffic and the crowds from the tour buses. He's an excellent driver! We drove through spectacular landscapes and stopped to wander through some of the towns and villages. As other writers have mentioned, Mark grew up in the area. He has a knowledge and a love for The Cotswolds that made the day unforgettable. For the most part, we went with all of Mark's well-informed suggestions, including the restaurant he chose for lunch (8 Bells), which had great food and quick service, but I was most impressed by a couple of alterations I requested once the day had started. For instance, there's a wonderful little church I remembered visiting during my first visit to The Cotswolds, though I couldn't recall the name of the town or the church. When I described it, Mark knew immediately what and where it was, and he added it to our itinerary. (It was St. Mary's Church in Swinbrook. Don't miss it.)
There are lots of tour companies available in The Cotswolds, but you won't find anyone better than Mark. Support a small business and go with Best Cotswold Tours. You'll thank me.”
