Throw back to a couple of weeks ago when it was sunny for the food tours! 🌞 Group bookings are always a lark, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! I plan the whole food experience so you can get on with jibber jabbering, catching up and enjoying your day (whatever the weather 😁)

🍜 SPOTLIGHT ON AN INDIE because they’re been so unreal this weekend - I mix up some of the venues now in order to work with as wide a range of independents as possible, but I’m made up that so many people have loved the Thai food on my Chester tours! 🧡

🥢It’s always top class food & always the best welcome. We had a full tour of 12 on Saturday whilst the races were on and it didn’t faze the team at all, they’re just great all round.

Love getting positive feedback for what I feel is one of the city’s most underrated restaurants 🧡🧡 The venue always picks the food they want to represent their own place, and it’s the perfect choice here👌🏽

🍦First ever Chester Dessert Tour was such a blast for me and Steph! And hopefully the guests 🫶🏼

We trotted through Chester high on macarons, chocolate, gelato, matcha & yuzu dessert, and Ukrainian honey cake visiting some incredible venues producing artisanal, award winning products and hearing about the journeys behind the businesses 🍫🍮🍰

Couldn’t have been a better day for me and as Steph was pastry chef at the Grosvenor they allowed us to have a last cocktail and cake before the iconic hotel closes in September.

All in all, we’d definitely do it again!

Another weekend of food tours in the bag - We’re lucky in Chester to have beautiful buildings, gorgeous scenery, and gelato with THREE Great Taste Awards at Krum Gelato

Giada was running the tours this week as I was off on a mini break, also stargazing, at a Planetarium & Observatory (because I am cool 🤓)

I have finally made it into the New Chester Market LEGO display 🥂 (and whilst my nephew was home from Japan. He now holds me in much higher esteem!)

🥐 I love croissants, smile incessantly like the village idiot and am a huge fan of this display.

I’m pathetically excited and made up to be immortalised in small plastic bricks along with some brilliant Chester restaurants, bars, people and groups 💃

Thank you Tony Chester You’re a skilled craftsman. I couldn’t put together a small buggy with the nephew and the instruction booklet was huge. Everyone gets a lot of pleasure seeing what you’ve created here 👌🏽

There used to be a donation box for charity for those having a gander at Chester in LEGO and hopefully that’ll be something that returns 💙

🗺️ August food tour weekends are booking up - Here’s a friend group, some local couples and my youngest globe trotting American guests yet - 18 years old and exploring everywhere eating as they go. They were great. I was still drinking alcopops at 18 and I’d only eat crisps, cheese and polos.

A two tour day on Thursday with 11 on the half day then 9 people along on the cheese & wine tour 🥂🧀

🌞 I love a mixed group, and this was a lively tour!

July has been a blast so thanks to everyone who came and tried a few different venues, gave fish tacos a go (and an optional deep fried oyster! 🦪 🫢) wandered Chester with award winning gelato and helped my imposter syndrome by enjoying the tours

The cheese & wine tour I always enjoy! And everyone helped make it as fun as ever 🍷

Saturdays Chester Food Tour was a great mix of people, from 18 to older 🙂

📸 Everyone must be used to my rubbish photos by now, but some of the guests took decent ones this time and furnished me with them!

There’s a couple of landmarks and a couple of food to look at, it’ll give you an idea of what we get up to during the day 🍻🍦
