Some places you stay & others you feel…🌿🇱🇰

Elaine has spent the last couple of nights tucked away at beautiful Rosyth Estate House in Kegalle, and it’s one of those special places that seems to capture the very essence of Sri Lanka.

Hidden amongst lush tropical gardens and rolling green hills, there’s a wonderful sense of being completely cocooned by nature. Wake to birdsong, look out across layers of jungle and distant hills, and simply slow down to the rhythm of life around you.

A fabulous evening at the iconic Camden Roundhouse for the TTG Travel Industry Awards & I was lucky enough to be hosted by our fabulous partners at Grecotel; who went on to win Hotel & Resort Operator of the Year!!

Such a huge achievement, up against the very best in the business and it was so lovely to be there celebrating with them.

I also got to cheer on our friends at Intrepid who took home an award too; another very well deserved win. ✨

Lots of fun, plenty of catching up with industry friends and some new connections made along the way too.

A very lovely night to be part of. 🤍

A little Oslo escape….

Opera, long dinners, cocktails, a little Nordic wellness and one very fabulous place to call home.

For this girls’ weekend, we chose Sommerro; a beautifully restored 1930s landmark in Oslo’s elegant Frogner neighbourhood, where original Art Deco glamour meets the energy of a modern members’ club. Striking interiors, live jazz, seven restaurants and bars, an intimate cinema and the gorgeous Vestkantbadet wellness space. There’s even a year-round rooftop pool and sauna overlooking the city.

It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like becoming part of Oslo for the weekend; somewhere you can dress up for dinner, linger over drinks, disappear to the spa and then head out for an evening at the opera.
