Beer Tours UK

Beer Tours UK This is a page about the very best beer tourism in the UK. We visit great brewers and splendid pubs to celebrate the UK's unique cask ale and pub culture.

We specialise in going off the well beaten beer path to take you to brewers you couldn't visit alone and gemstone cask ale pubs hidden away in city and countryside.

One of my favourite photos of the Farmers Arms Pub, Muker, a proper Dales pub that serves good food and lovely beer all set in some of the Yorkshire Dales National Park finest scenery.

Buttercups, a couple of Cow'uses (barns) some drystone walls and Swinner Gill peaking out in the distance, just another beautiful day in Swaledale.

πŸͺœ BUCKDEN PIKE WALK: THE STEEPER SECTION WITH STONE STEPS NEAR THE TOP

⛰️ At a bend in the path the climb suddenly bites, with a steeper pull up towards the summit area at around 630 metres. The large stone steps make it easier underfoot and help protect the route from erosion.

πŸ“ For the full walk details, visit my website for the complete description, statistics, more photos, recommended maps, and more.

πŸ§— CLIMBING BY THE RAILWAY ON THE WHERNSIDE WALK

πŸ›€οΈ I continue along the path with the impressive viaduct on my left as the terrain begins to climb. The route runs alongside the railway line and is a popular choice for many fellow walkers.

πŸ’» Head over to my website for walk descriptions, statistics, more photos, recommended maps, and more.

Small independent breweries such as Purple Moose are at the heart of our communities creating jobs and producing world‑class Welsh beer.

But the playing field simply isn’t fair. Many are locked out of local pubs because of very restrictive supply contracts between pub chains and larger producers.

Pubs in are benefiting from a Guest Agreement giving smaller producers a real chance to compete alongside larger established brands. Wales deserves the same.

The Govt must now act. By introducing a similar agreement for we can open up opportunities for independent brewers support local economies & give consumers greater choice to try our best beers.

I was pleased to host an event in Westminster earlier this week to highlight this unfairness.

We should all back this Graph initiative. We need our rural pubs. Every year we delight in showing these places to our guests from abroad - something they can't find at home.

🍻 When a rural pub closes, a village loses far more than a business. We’re proud to back The Telegraph’s call to protect and support rural pubs!
