💫☄️🌌 My Friday last week started with an exploration of the dark night skies above us at the South Downs Planetarium, an incredible place run entirely by volunteers and hosting over 150 school groups every year.
Their biggest challenge is the prohibitive cost of transport for local schools to get to the planetarium, even with its great transport links being so close to the bus and train station Chichester.
They also run one-off events throughout school holidays and you can find out about those events on their website and social media.

How many Planets can you see in the night sky? In good visibility, it is possible to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn with the naked eye tonight. If you have access to a telescope or binoculars, you might even see Uranus and Neptune too! 🔭
