The ACC Team were at London Youth Games at Lee Valley VeloPark yesterday, helping deliver a fantastic day for the U16 time trials and road races on the outdoor circuit.

Last night we welcomed multi Olympic Gold medalist Ed Clancy and former UCI world hour record holder Alex Dowsett to the regular Tuesday evening sessions.

A very wet evening didn’t dampen spirits and the lads did a few laps of the circuit with various groups of riders.

Andy’s own club Chippenham and District Wheelers were also present delivering a Go Ride session that culminated in riding a lap in the rain with the two CAMS ambassadors.

A Q&A session later in the evening led to some thoughtful questions from various participants including younger cyclists.

A wonderful evening and thanks from us all at ACC for the CAMS attendance and particularly Alex Dowsett and Ed Clancy

The CAMS team will be there alongside Olympian, Ed Clancy and Alex Dowsett, all out on track riding with participants throughout the evening.

Whether you’re new to cycling, looking to build confidence, or keen to push the pace, these sessions are open to riders of all abilities.

Some of the ACC team were out today as proud partners of the Hospitality Action Summer Cycle Challenge.

Starting from the stunning Lainston House , the route took riders through the beautiful New Forest, with fantastic feed stations hosted by The Pig Hotel and Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa

It was an incredible day of cycling and camaraderie, all in support of a truly worthwhile cause!
