Week 2, Day 1 ☀️

Another great day yesterday all groups rode to Petra for coffee in the sunshine!

And, as ever, fantastic van support too!

It’s 11am, you’re cycling in Mallorca 25 miles
away from your hotel on a very quiet country
lane when THIS happens (rear derailleur
completely disintegrates) ⛓️‍💥

So what happens next??!! ➡️➡️➡️

On the ACC bike camp, six simple steps:

1. the Ride Leaders take control;
they try to do their best to repair it

2. the support vehicle is summoned;

3. you & your bike get picked up within 10
minutes ;

4. you get taken straight back to base;

5. you then get taken to as many bike shops as
necessary to get the problem sorted with the
help of a Spanish speaker (4 different shops on
this particular occasion);

6. And by 5pm the same day you get driven back
to pick up your bike, so you’re all ready to ride
again the very next day!

As someone once said “We won’t make a drama
out of a crisis”.

Just ONE of many good reasons for joining an
ACC bike camp! 😁👍

If you’re flying with your bike, this is the way to go!

Buxumbox Bike Boxes ✈️

This time, a couple of our favoured clients flew the bikes out with them - and, as always Buxumbox Bike Boxes provided total peace of mind from packing to arrival.

The incredible craftsmanship and quality of each box, makes travelling with your bike that little bit easier.

Highly recommend!

Autumn Bike Camp, Days 1 & 2 ☀️

Mainly coffee and sunshine! We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy dry weather for both rides, all groups went to Costitx today for a well-earned coffee stop. Here’s to more sunshine, more miles and more good times ahead!

That’s a wrap on another great cycling season at Castle Combe Circuit. Our final session of the year was a good one, great weather, great riding and, as always, a brilliant group of riders out on track.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Tuesday and made it so enjoyable.

Now for the only downside… we’ve got to wait until next April to do it all again! 😁

🚨 Room Update | Mallorca Bike Weeks 🇪🇸🚴‍♂️

A quick update on accommodation for Mallorca!

There are now NO Maris rooms remaining, and unfortunately, there are no rooms available for the nights of the 3rd, 9th or 10th October.

What this means for anyone who hasn’t booked yet:

👉 Option 1: Opt for a shorter stay and enjoy 6 days of organised rides instead of 7, at a reduced price.

👉 Option 2: You can still book Sunday 11th – Sunday 18th, in a different room type but you’ll need to arrange alternative accommodation for the Saturday night.

Thank you all so much for your continued support! 🚴‍♂️
