Can’t believe we didn’t visit this beautiful town all these years! Since it was a last minute plan, we couldn’t get the tickets to the Roman Bath but the city didn’t disappoint us! The Roman architecture, the cobbled streets, the artists performing on the street, lovely cafes gave us major Europe feels! We also took a boat tour (to compensate for missing the Roman Bath) which can be skipped lol 😉 We highly recommend visiting Bath if you haven’t already!

As the lockdown eased a bit in the UK (still stay alert, maintain 2 mts social distance) , we made the most of the weather and celebrated our sons third birthday by the beach!

What a refreshing experience and such a wonderful relief amidst the 2+ months of being locked down in the house 🙂

Why are you going to Oman of all the places? - constant question we heard before we came here! Let me tell you why should you as well!
If you have an irrepressible spirit of a traveler, Wadi Shab in Oman should be on your list. Wadi shab is in the Al Sharqiyah region and is known for its unusual natural attractiveness in full glory! So what’s so great about it? So, you experience nature in its rawest, purest form. Your journey starts with a 45 min (ish) trek in a mountainous terrain and you walk alongside the meandering of a river to reach the cave with crystal clear green- blue waters! Then you swim through the shallow pebbly pools to get to deep waters in the cave and eventually you have to swim through a narrow cave way to get to the waterfalls! The views combined with that sense of accomplishment is EVERYTHING!! And then you can swim around for a while until you start the trek back to where you take the boat and get back to the base. The trip to Wadi Shab totally satiated my curios, adventurous and fun loving soul! And I insist, you visit it when you’re in Oman. And if you’re not planning a trip to Oman, get planning! I have huge respect for artists in general and musicians in particular! So, I’m one of those people that forget everything else and stop to listen to a performing artist on the road & tip them! Last evening we were on our way to the Underbelly Festival and stopped to listen to this amazing performance & the setting around was just phenomenal- Watch that airplane pass by London eye as he plays Despacito ! Enjoy the treat 🤗
