We had a lovely last day hiking yesterday, ending a superb week of exploring the Val Di Fassa in the Dolomites.
After taking the newly opened cable car from Campitello, we followed the Federico Augusto path, an exhilarating high level traverse running along below the great cliffs of Plattkofel. Lunch at the Refugio, then a descent through the forested Val Duron 🥾☀️🇮🇹

Our first holiday in Tenby Pembrokeshire has just come to an end. Fantastic coastal walk, great weather and sea views from the Imperial hotel.

We have been busy in the Dolomites, exploring the stunning Rosengarten Massif on Tuesday, reaching the Passo Principe at 2600m!
Today we walked along the beautiful Sas De Adam ridge, descending before a change in the weather.
A trip into Bolzano on our rest day, to see Otzi the iceman in the South Tyrol museum of archaeology.

The first two days of our Val Di Fassa walking holiday in the Dolomites have not let us down; we have ascended high mountain passes, descended through ancient forests of stone pine and Spruce - so very fragrant in the sun, and enjoyed the fantastic rustic fayre offered by the Refugios 🥾☀️🥘🇮🇹

Lovely weather here in Slovenia - off to the Vrata Valley today.Yesterday the majority of the group ascende Mount Sija, few spent some time watching tandem paragliding from the international take off area at the top of the chair lifts on the Vogel alpine centre - and we all agreed - not for us.

Its the 60th guided walking holiday in super SLOVENIA this week. We look forward to celebrating this with new friends - and hope the sunny start in the Mostnice gorge on Saturday continues. Lovely and warm, and an ice cream at the end.
All holidays completed at Hotel Tripic - still our number one.
