🌳💚 Help Us Grow a Tree of Hope Across Cirencester

Sometimes, a few kind words can make all the difference.

This September and October, we're proud to be partnering with Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind to bring the Tree of Hope to communities across Cirencester.

As the tree travels around the town, we'll be inviting people to write a message of hope, kindness or encouragement on a leaf and add it to the tree. Whether it's a positive thought, a reminder that someone isn't alone, or simply words you'd like someone to hear on a difficult day, every message matters.

Collectively, we'll create a powerful display of support from our community, showing that kindness and connection can have a lasting impact.

This month it's the turn of Cirencester Music Academy !

Cirencester Music Academy is a new music school and instrument shop based on Dyer Street, run by Stuart and Nicki Elwin. Their aim is simple: to make learning music accessible, inspiring and enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities.

They believe that everyone learns differently so their teaching methods reflect this. Guided by passionate teachers, their lessons focus on helping students play the music they love, building confidence and skills at a pace that works for them, whether they are complete beginners or developing musicians. Alongside their teaching rooms, they run a carefully curated music shop.

Their focus will be on quality beginner and mid-range instruments that represent excellent value, ideal for new students and growing musicians. They want to make it easy for families and learners in Cirencester to buy instruments locally, with honest guidance and support rather than having to guess and purchase online.

This autumn, Remnant Revolution are delivering 100 Come Sew With Us classes across the Cotswolds. Remnant Revolution are a women-led, local brand championing women, tackling textile waste and supporting a circular economy. They transform remnant and surplus fabrics into useful pieces, creating fairly paid, meaningful work for women. They use donated fabrics from fabric houses, interior designers and brands for their classes keeping them in circulation for longer, for good.

Come Sew With Us is about more than sewing. It’s about learning new skills, building confidence, meeting people and creating real human connection.
