Lois is still in absolute awe after returning from the Maasai Mara Safari with Offbeat. The range of game was so vast, and trying to note down everything became a game in itself.
Wildlife encounters included (but were not limited to): elephant, topi, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, terrapin, warthog, Thompson gazelle, Grant's gazelle, impala, waterbuck, bush buck, hippo, crocodile, eland, secretary bird, fish eagle, vultures, lilac breasted roller, bateleur eagle, lion, cheetah, serval, bush baby, hyena, spring hare, sand grouse, jackal, mongoose, golden orb spider, and even little hyraxes.
As well as learning all about the various other life such as the fig tree, fig tree wasps, termites, orange leaved croton bushes... the list is literally endless for wildlife learning opportunities.
