“A beautiful cottage with amazing views and peaceful surroundings! Perfect for walks and sitting in the outdoor area with a drink taking in the view.
The cottage is cosy and very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our 2 night stay!
The hosts have been so nice/friendly and really helpful and accommodating as we forgot our dog lead so they kindly lent us one to use for our stay! Which was a lifesaver.
Everything is a drive away but lots to do. We went to a pub on the recommended host list and one of the walking trails and had a lovely time. So thank you.”

"Amazing long weekend at the Farmhouse! We stayed to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge which is around 45 mins away. The house was perfect for relaxing and unwinding with great facilities and amenities — super clean and felt right at home. Paul and Victoria were great hosts who gave us clear instructions and kindly extended our check out time without asking. Thank you so much!"

A Wedding Weekend to Remember at The Longhouse

Sally and her family made unforgettable memories when they hired The Longhouse for her daughter’s wedding at the beautiful local village hall in Slaidburn.

The entire space, made up of The Hayloft, The Farmhouse and The Cottage - all internally connected, was theirs for the entire weekend.

With space for up to 15 guests, a games room, large relaxing hot tub and use of all outdoor areas including fire pits & BBQs they had everything they needed & more to make it a special celebration for their entire stay with us.

Here’s what Sally had to say:

"We had a wonderful stay at Laythams holiday retreat. My daughter was getting married and she and her bridesmaids got ready and set off from the venue. It is an idyllic setting and the accommodation was perfect for us with linking cottages. Victoria and Paul could not have been more helpful. Thank you both for making our stay so memorable."
