Last night a customer rang me from Kathmandu: her husband had lost his passport just 8 hours before they were due to fly home at the end of a Delhi to Kathmandu adventure with their two adult children.
They began the emergency passport process and needed my advice on whether the children could travel home alone and what to do about new flights. Today the children are in Delhi waiting for their flight to London, and I am staying in close contact with the parents, ready to book them on to new flights as soon as the emergency passport is issued. They are not on their own in this.
