All day long in the form of smiles & weather at the stunning Bruisyard Country Estate for A&T’s wedding.

I ended my 2024 wedding season here, & it was so lovely to be back for my first full day wedding of 2025. This time with kinder weather, drinks on the lawn & groups shots without wind or rain !!

WHAT A FABULOUS DAY

L&D decided to get married, after being together for 23 years, on the very day Lisa’s Grandmother got married 85 years ago.

They had their two best friends as whitenesses & the four of them made a grey, damp winter’s day seemingly shine where ever they were walking, laughing, sipping champagne or having fun blowing bubbles [also see the random guy that Lisa decided they needed to have a little dance with] before the were chauffeured off by to Ickworth House to enjoy the rest of their day.

// W E T & W I N D Y

But filled with so much joy & love all day long despite the weather ! We even managed a confetti moment during the only time all day when the rain [sort of] stopped but the wind kept doing its thing.
Do enjoy the many faces of James, who hates having his photo taken, so having me was his idea of torture, but I got him smiling in the end [although in reality if I had just given him a pint he’d have been smiling all shoot long] !
And the MC, who was in fact a guest, was T.H.E best I’ve had the pleasure of ‘working” with. In fact I’m sure if you paid him he’d make the perfect addition to any wedding !

Weddings can be so beautiful. Ok I get it … unlike this weekend, where we have had yet another storm [more on that this coming week] C&T got lucky with the weather last weekend & their guests managed to have a mini drinks reception outside before heading into the cosy, heated barn at Layer Marney Tower to play games & sip on mulled wine. But even so, the colours in the landscape were stunning & even the Silver Rolls blended in, not forgetting the fabulous RouteMaster bus giving a pop of colour & fun to the day.

And I can’t not mention the flowers by Julia at Wedding Panache - absolutely gorgeous !

These two made Intimate Weddings look hot 🔥 Kitty looked absolutely fabulous in her silver dress & boots, topped with the most gorgeous, designer kimono jacket made by

And of course James insisted they have his vintage Bentley too !

Their closest family & friends joined them at Braintree Town Hall for a very emotional ceremony, where there wasn’t a dry eye in the room, but we were soon laughing when James’s mum’s phone went off, not once but twice during the ceremony !

With these two !

L&B stole one another’s hearts when they met & they stole a little piece of my heart on Saturday with their cuteness.

They had a most beautiful, intimate wedding in Norfolk at Chaucer Barn, which I have also fallen head over heels in love with. Any venue that has acres of trees [all planted by the owner James], with endless, landscaped & wild fields wins me over in a heart beat & Chaucer Barn really felt like my happy place on Saturday.

Their day was filled with so much laughter & fun, the best ring bearer [Kerim] who made me smile all day long, cocktails that I wish I had been able to indulge in by the very talented mixologist , speeches that made us all cry & food that was to die for by the fabulous caterers .

Was in full force on Saturday when we had both biblical rain & glorious sunshine … and then a fireball sunset to finish off the day.

Both E&D were so determined to get outside as soon as the rain stopped, to make the most of the glistening light that happens straight after, in the fabulous grounds of Maidens Barn.
