I’m feeling a little emotional this morning after discovering that three of my images have been awarded Honorable Mentions at the International Photography Awards.
One of these photographs was among only 12 worldwide to receive this recognition in the Professional Event: Weddingcategory, placing me within the top 15 globally. Another was honoured in the Wedding: People category, one of just 16 images to achieve this distinction, ranking in the top 19 worldwide.
It never ceases to amaze me that my work is noticed by the IPA judges & I’m endlessly grateful to my wonderful couples for trusting me to be their “third wheel” on such meaningful days.
Feeling very lucky & deeply thankful.

I N T I M A T E

H&M celebrated their wedding earlier this week at the beautiful Talbooth Hotel & Spa, surrounded by the most intimate circle of loved ones.

With just 11 guests, the day felt wonderfully personal, yet the room was filled with endless conversation & laughter.

Every single guest shared not only a deep connection with the couple but also with one another, creating the warmest atmosphere.

The day flowed with chatter, dancing & joy, just as H&M had wished. It truly couldn’t have been more perfect.

H&M thank you so much for inviting me to share in such a special day. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek into your celebration.

JOY IN THE RAIN

A couple of weeks ago, these two beautiful souls tied the knot at Braintree Town Hall & I couldn’t resist sharing a glimpse into their day.

I’ve always adored black & white photography; there’s a timeless drama to it, a way of distilling a moment so the emotion feels even more vivid, almost tangible.

But colour, too, has its magic. And so do candid group shots, especially when little ones are involved, full of energy & entirely unwilling to sit still. It’s in those unscripted moments that personalities truly shine & I love capturing them just as they are.

A F T E R N O O N T E A

At Church should be a thing at weddings !

E&M held their wedding in the most beautiful church in Diss, which was attended by over 200 guests, and decided to have afternoon tea & the cake cutting moment straight afterwards, with homemade sausage rolls & oodles of cake ! Oh & they walked out of the church to “You’ve got a friend in me” which was just 💛

Yes, the rain did come, but in typical farmer style it did not stop everyone having fun.

The guests were then entertained by fabulous speeches & ended the day with garden games & country dancing !

I also want to thank Si for being there as my wingman on the day. You’re the reason I’m in this industry & it’s always lovely working with you ✨

E&M I hope you love the sneaks & that you had the most fabulous honeymoon in Kenya.

LOVE & LAUGHTER

Love these two. Two souls, beautifully matched in love & laughter.

I had met Summer’s family before & it was so lovely seeing them all again. Remembering the adorable connection she has with her grandfather, who gave her away, and grandmother who had played an important role as she grew up with her mother & two sisters.

But it was equally lovely being introduced to James’s family too !

T H A N K Y O U

I’ve just discovered that four of the five images that I submitted to this years International Photography Awards in NY have been Officially Selected for the final round 💛
I am so deeply grateful. With each passing year, it becomes increasingly difficult to submit my work, as I constantly fear it may not meet the high standards of the esteemed panel of judges, so this has made me smile today !
Now back to reality & more wediting !

C U T E C O U P L E

I was very excited about this wedding day as it was. My first woodland ceremony at The Tudor Barn Belstead & it was adorable.

The slight breeze was very welcome on another scorching hot day & we had to seek the shade all day long for the photos.

But there were some really cute moments that you can find in the sneaks … Adam’s BestMan keeping him cool ahead of the ceremony & the “hands on bums” photo !
