When someone asks me to find them a holiday, I don't just look at the star rating and the price.

There are a few things I always look into first...

📍 1. THE LOCATION

Is it actually in the right area for what you want from your holiday?

A hotel can look fantastic, but if you're miles away from the restaurants, beach or attractions you wanted to visit, it might not be the right choice.

⭐ 2. THE RECENT REVIEWS

I don't just look at the overall rating. I like to see what people who have stayed there recently are saying.

Things can change, so recent feedback can tell you a lot.

💷 3. WHAT'S ACTUALLY INCLUDED

What's included in the price?

Flights, baggage, transfers, board basis and any extras can all make a difference to the overall cost — and I want to make sure you're comparing holidays properly.

The cheapest option isn't always the best value. Flight times, location, board basis and what's actually included can make a huge difference.

That gorgeous-looking hotel might be perfect… until you realise it's miles away from everything you wanted to see or do!
