We are making the most of a calm sunny day tomorrow (Tuesday 29th July) to do a wildlife tour, dolphins, orca have all been seen in the last few days.

Coldingham bay is 5mins drive from Copper nut. Parking is available opposite st Vedas. Alternatively the right of way path can be followed opposite the cottage all the way down and through the village. (approx 30-40mins). The coastal path extends along the coast in both directions. Heading to st Abbs is Jura’s favourite but make sure to stop at Ebbcars cafe as they serve the best Cullen skink soup and some mighty fine baking!

New recommendation!

Last weekend we visited Marshalls cafe for the first time and couldn’t believe we had not found this place sooner!
All day breakfasts and amazing chicken caesar ciabatta 🤩 The traybakes looked amazing also…
And just 20mins down the road from the bothy and definitely worth the trip
Also appeared to be dog friendly! 🐶😃

We are running surf lessons at Coldingham Bay.

* Tuesday 15th July (KIDS ONLY 9-16yrs) - Arrive by 10:00am Lessons starts 10:30am
* Wednesday 16th July - Arrive by 10:00am Lessons starts 10:30am

Lessons are £50pp including all equipment required.
Minimum age 9 years old.
Lessons approximately 2 hours long.

Lesson spaces are limited so booking is on a first come basis.

Last sunday we took the recommendation of The Coastal Custodian - Across Northumberland Coast & Country and we were not disappointed! Amazing meal and lovely staff who looked after us all followed by a beautiful stroll along the beach for Jura dawwg after!
