We have some exciting news. My little one is currently recovering from a big operation, one week down and we’re very bored but yesterday her bees arrived. She’s doing some extra curricular activity on top of her home work learning about bees. I couldn’t be prouder. Not phased at all and she spotted our lovely queen who she’s called Honey. The work starts now we hope to grow our apiary to two and a half hives. This is the ideal start to ensure a strong colony for next year. We’ve had some super support from Herd & Hive.

Have you been lucky enough to see these fabulous birds whilst visiting us?

Great news! The viewpoint at Cove will open again this week for people to watch the world’s fastest animal - the peregrine falcon 🦅 The Malham Peregrine Project is a long-running partnership between us and The RSPB which was paused during the ‘Covid years’.

Volunteers will be on hand to show people the birds through telescopes from 10.30am to 4.30pm on 19-20 May, 16-17 June and 21-22 July.

💬 - when they go into their aerial stoop, peregrines have been recorded reaching speeds of over 200 miles an hour!
