Meet Beth 👋

Beth first joined Dinlle Caravan Park in 2018 as our gardener, before leaving in 2022 to join the police.

But it turns out she missed life outdoors a little too much… and in April 2025, Beth returned to Dinlle and back to the gardens she loves 🌿

For Beth, spending her days outdoors and helping keep Dinlle looking its best really is “the best job in the world”.

And when she’s not in the gardens, you’ll usually find her out on the water, either on her jet ski or paddleboard 🌊

We’re so pleased to have Beth back at Dinlle, and hugely appreciate the care, pride and hard work she puts into making the park look beautiful every day💙

Meet Sam 👋

Sam joined Thornley Leisure Parks back in 2015 as a groundsman at Dinlle Caravan Park, and his journey has taken him right across our Welsh parks.

After gaining his gas qualification, Sam moved into our maintenance team, helping to keep all 8 of our parks in Wales running smoothly, with some pretty special coastline views along the way 🌊

For Sam, though, it’s the people who make the job. He describes the team as “one big family” and even gets involved off the parks too, from our 5-a-side team to this year’s Charity Dragon Boat Race in Llanberis!

After more than a decade with Thornley, Sam continues to be a hugely valued part of the team - we’re incredibly grateful for everything he brings to the team💙🛠️

That’s a wrap on the Southport Flower Show 2026! 🌿🏡

Meet Mel, our Reception Manager at The Beach Caravan Park 🌊

For the past 13 years, Mel has been a familiar and friendly face at The Beach, welcoming guests and owners, arranging holidays, helping with enquiries and making sure everyone feels right at home 😊

Mel’s also the organiser behind many of our brilliant owners’ events, and says one of her favourite parts of the job is “creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy themselves.” 🎉

After 13 years, Mel still loves coming to work with the sea right outside her window, telling us: “The view from my desk is truly breathtaking, and even after all these years, it’s something I’ll never take for granted.”

We’re incredibly lucky to have Mel as such a big part of life at The Beach. Thank you for everything you do for our guests, owners and team💙
