ur location is perfect for exploring all the Jurassic coast has to offer. The Donkey sanctuary and Sidmouth are under 30 minutes away. Within an hour are The Blackdown Hills, Dartmoor National park and the city of Exeter. The cottage has a small garden and we welcome your four legged friends! However due to the size of the cottage it would not be suitable for more than 2 dogs. We welcome families with children. We would ask parents of young children to consider that the front door opens directly onto the road, and while it isn’t too busy, access might be a little bit difficult with a buggy or pram, or toddling little ones, so you’ll need to take extra care. The stairs are open at the bottom so can’t be gated. Towels and bedding are provided. Parking is on street as available and there is a car park within close walking distance that is £3 per 24 hours. Colyton is a small Saxon town dubbed the most rebellious in England due to its citizens involvement in the Monmouth rebellion in 1685. It is a great base for exploring east Devon and west Dorset, it has everything you need for a relaxing cozy getaway.
