🚢 PS Waverley Steams into North Devon This Week!
The world’s last seagoing paddle steamer, PS Waverley, is visiting North Devon over the next week — and she’ll be making several special calls to Ilfracombe.
If you’ve never seen her arrive, it’s a real spectacle: the red funnels, the paddles churning, and that unmistakable whistle echoing across the bay. A proper goose bumps moment.
Whether you’re: • watching her glide into Ilfracombe Harbour • waving her off from the pier • or lucky enough to be sailing on one of her trips …it’s a fantastic chance to experience a living piece of maritime history right here on our coast.
