We are bikers ourselves so we built the site for how we actually want to stay.
£10 per person per night. Park your bike next to your tent. Secure gated camping. Free hot showers. Secure charging room. Secure drying room for wet gear. BBQs and wood burners with wood and kindling on request.
Close to the best Peak District roads. No children under 16. No dogs. Pitch wherever you like.
And yes, you will probably get inspected by an alpaca at some point. The peacocks think they run the place and the ducks will wander through like they own it. Meerkats and wallabies are on site too 😁

Looking for a campsite with amazing views and company that isn’t other people’s kids?

You might wake up to a peacock outside the tent, an alpaca staring at your breakfast or ducks waddling through camp like they pay rent 😁

We’ve also got meerkats and wallabies on site.
Camping is just £10 per person per night. No designated pitches so you can tent up wherever you like. Park the bike next to the tent, gated site, free hot showers, drying room and charging room.
No children under 16 and no dogs. We are on the edge of the Peak District, CW12 3QG, right on the Gritstone Trail.

What a gorgeous weekend on the campsite ☀️🏕️

Happy campers, lovely groups of bikers, BBQ smells drifting through the air and some cracking bikes turning up too 😍
Pete has been brilliant as always, making sure everyone had logs and anything else they needed 🤠

The peacocks were showing off again and the alpacas did their usual rounds of the tents. Always makes us laugh.

Calling all bikers looking for a biker friendly campsite near the Peak District!

Yes it can be a tad wet but at Avona Escapes we have a drying room so you don’t need to put soggy bike gear back on 😃
£10 a night per person, beautiful views, firepits, BBQs, charging room, clean toilets and showers, and a child free site.
The peacocks don’t care about the rain, the alpacas will still wander over and the ducks just carry on as normal 😁
CW12 3QG. Cat & Fiddle, Snake Pass, Matlock Bath and Buxton are all within an hour.

At Avona Escapes Glamping & Camping we welcome solo bikers and groups. We are bikers ourselves and can give you some great routes around the Peak District and beyond.
Just £10 per night, per person. Secure gated site, park your bike next to your tent, free hot showers, charging room and a drying room for wet gear. BBQs and wood burners with wood and kindling on request.
No children under 16 and no dogs. Instead you get peacocks strutting about like they own the place, alpacas coming over for a nosey and ducks pottering through camp. We’ve also got meerkats and wallabies on site 😁😁

Not everyone wants to sleep in a tent after a long ride, and that’s fine 😃
Our glamping pods and huts come with a private kitchen, fridge-freezer, oven, hob and they are fully heated. Perfect if you still want the views, the animals and the biker-friendly site without the canvas.
Camping is still just £10 per person per night if you do want the tent. Same secure gated site, same drying room, same charging room, same free hot showers. Park the bike next to where you’re staying.
No under 16s, no dogs. Alpacas, meerkats, peacocks, ducks and wallabies live here with us.

Our postcode is CW12 3QG and we are surrounded by the most amazing, twisty bike roads, Matlock Bath, Snakes Pass, Cat & Fiddle and Buxton are all within a hour or less.
