We have had some fabulous reviews from guests that have stayed at Puddleduck House, Coniston recently. Now summer may be full, but we still have availability during the autumn and winter months and our 2024 availability is also bookable via our website.

So works are nearly finished and we are very pleased with the outcome, our photographer/videographer is booked in at the end of March to get those all important pictures done, meaning we can share the new look puddleduck house around 1st or 2nd week of April....watch this space!...not much availability with a few gaps in May and June and later on in the year come September.

Starting early January 2021, Puddleduck House will be having internal renovations (with some minor external work) including a nice new fitted kitchen, some new interiors, internal flooring and paint job throughout....works should take 5-6 weeks so we will be closed for that short period. We hope everyone is keeping safe and well at this time and extend our warmest wishes from Puddleduck House. We are now taking bookings from the 4th July as the advice we have received is that self-catering accommodation will be back from that date. However, we recognise the uncertainty at this time so we are offering a free cancellation policy up to 2 weeks prior to the start of your holiday for any reason. In addition to this, should restrictions continue or re-start then we guarantee full refunds even within that 2 week period. We also wish to advise you that special cleaning is being done by our housekeeping company between lets in accord with guidelines to keep our guests safe and happy. So feel free to book our cottage with confidence! Our website has a booking calendar so you can check out the dates you'd like and see the prices - or simply send us a message! x

You really don't have to venture far from Puddleduck House to get stunning views 🤗This walk is a lovely circular walk from the house, along the Cumbria Way and then in a loop back to Coniston Water! It's only just over an hour in length (unless you get sidetracked by all the wonderful views and other walks!) and is perfect for arrival or departure days 😍
