Linsmore has two lodges; Oak and Fir Tree which sleep six + cot each. these lodges are situated on the edge of Contin village,in Ross-shire Scotland, located on 1.7 acres garden among mature trees on the edge of Forestry Land with fields behind and wooded hills around. This area of Ross-shire is an excellent holiday location with m

agnificent scenery, well situated for; touring, walking, fishing, golfing, mountain biking, climbing and ideal for anyone with an interest in ornithology, botany and wildlife. Just a car ride away there are stunning beaches, historic castles and unique craft shops. In addition, Inverness is only situated 17 miles away with shops, railways and an international airport. There are multiple historic towns and villages in the local area, offering a wide variety of shopping, culture and fantastic food. Dingwall is a traditional market town, only 8 miles away from the lodges. Or there is Strathpeffer displaying Victorian architecture including a spa and pump room, only 3 miles away. Oak and Fir Tree are single storey lodges built to a high standard. They both include:
• One King size bedroom, Large twins or Superking zip lock bedroom and twin bedroom, with duvets, bed linen. Towels can be provided if requested.
• The large open planned lounge, diner, and kitchen is comfortably furnished including: Freesat, Smart TV, DVD, micro CD, cassette and radio, electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board and all necessary utensils.
• Outside each lodge is a grassy area, ample parking and seating area.
• Wi-Fi is available

Linsmore Lodges are base in the Highlands on the route of the N500. Only 20 miles from Inverness and it is a great base to explore the whole of the Highlands from.

Linsmore Lodges both have 3 bedrooms ( sleeps 6 + cot ) that are able to be set as 2 King size & 1 Twin or 1 King size & 2 Twins, with an open lounge kitchen/dinning area.

Dogs are welcome here at Linsmore lodges.

On our door step-
🏞 Forestry direct access with 30 miles of walks for all different abilities or Mountian biking trails (Contin/ ) on our doorstep.🚵‍♂️
Locally - Moy Rock for climbing, ⛰️

We went down in the woods today and seen a big ( well little) surprise!

Linsmore Lodges are now taking booking for 2025.

We have put a price frezze on our booking and if you book before 28th February 2025, it will be at 2024 prices.

We still have avilabilty for Easter and the school holidays also.

Celebrating 🎉our 8th year🎉🥳🏡🏡 here at Linsmore lodges . Thank you to all the guest we have had over these years old and new. It has been lovely to meet you all and we are glad that we been able to you give you all the chance to make some lovely memories here at Linsmore lodges in the Highlands of Scotland. and hope to see more of you again this year 2025.

Linsmore has some of the most wonderful wildlife Scotland has to offer right on door steps of the lodges. This area of Ross-shire is an excellent holiday location with magnificent scenery, well situated for; touring, walking, fishing, golfing, mountain biking, climbing and ideal for anyone with an interest in ornithology, botany and wildlife. Just a car ride away there are stunning beaches, historic castles and unique craft shops. In addition, Inverness is only situated 17 miles away with shops, railways and an international airport.

There are multiple historic towns and villages in the local area, offering a wide variety of shopping, culture and fantastic food. Dingwall is a traditional market town, only 8 miles away from the lodges or there is Strathpeffer displaying victorian architecture including a spa and pump room, only 3 miles away. They both include: •Room 1 King size bedroom, Room 2 super king size zip lock or 2 large singles and Room 3 two singles, with duvets, bed linen and towels provided if required. • The large open planned lounge, diner, and kitchen is comfortably furnished including: Freesat, Smart TV, DVD, micro CD, cassette and radio, electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board and all necessary utensils. • Outside each lodge is a grassy area, ample parking and picnic table/seating area and now have a BBQ Hut and Pizza Oven that can be booked for your use while your here on holiday. • Wi-Fi is available in the lodges for use while you stay.
