The first time I visited Conwy was by complete accident. We were travelling home from Anglesey and we had to stop somewhere en route.
I fell in love with it (despite the wet February weather) and couldn't believe I hadn't visited it before. 💗
Conwy is famous for its majestic 13th-century castle and impressive town walls that you can walk along for breathtaking views of the estuary and Snowdonia mountains 🏰
It has a plethora of independent shops, cafe's wine bars and even a fine dining restaurant for real foodies.🍾
Here's a taste of what you can experience:
Explore Conwy Castle: Climb its towers and battlements, and immerse yourself in centuries of history.
Wander the Town Walls: Enjoy a free walk around the medieval walls for panoramic views 🥾
Discover Plas Mawr: Step back in time at one of Britain's best-preserved Elizabethan townhouses 🏠
Visit The Smallest House in Great Britain: Don't miss this quirky, bright red attraction on the quayside
Stroll along Conwy Marina: Enjoy the views of moored boats and grab some fish and chips 🍟
Boat Trips: Take a sightseeing cruise to see the castle and wildlife from the water 🛥️
Nature & Walks: Hike up Conwy Mountain for stunning scenery or visit RSPB Conwy for birdwatching 🐦
For a gentler walk, try the path from Conwy Marina to Deganwy Marina
