A walk over the SYCHNANT PASS is great for the amazing views from its many vantage points. It also seems to be the right time of year for the heather and gorse to be in full bloom. You may also bump into the wild horses. They look quite small and well adapted to the harsh environment.

I've always been fascinated by the slate fences around here and this is the daddy of them all. It seems to go on forever...
