Ewe in Jordan 🇯🇴

Walking ancient Bedouin trails.

Where places feel untouched by time.

Follow centuries-old routes through the vast wilderness of Wadi Rum, where sandstone mountains rise from the desert floor.

Spend your evenings gathered around the campfire in a traditional Bedouin desert camp beneath vast star-filled skies.

Then comes Petra.

Enter this UNESCO World Heritage Site via its hidden back routes, arriving on foot at one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological wonders in a way few visitors ever experience.

Share a traditional lunch at Safi Kitchen, a community-led initiative where local women welcome you with food, stories and warm hospitality.

And after five unforgettable days on the trail, reward tired legs with a float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea.

With travel advisories recently easing and international flight routes continuing to operate normally through the region, now feels like the perfect time to rediscover one of the Middle East’s most captivating adventure destinations.

🏔️ Join us in congratulating this fantastic team on reaching the Roof of North Africa over the weekend – the summit of Mt Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa! 🇲🇦

From the vibrant streets of Marrakech to the rugged trails of the High Atlas Mountains, this adventure had it all. Epic blue skies, breathtaking 360-degree views, mountain sunrises, nights under canvas and a summit day that will live long in the memory.

But as with all great adventures, it wasn’t just about the mountain. It was about sharing the journey with good people and what a top team this was.

As Dave shared with us afterwards:
“It was amazing from the get go. All five of us got on so well, worked great as a team and there was lots of laughter throughout. Our guide Mohamed was amazing 🤩🤩. Will definitely look to book with you guys again.”

We love hearing feedback like this because it captures exactly what adventure travel is all about. The summit is incredible, but it is often the memories, friendships, teamwork and shared experiences that stay with you long after you return home.

A huge congratulations again to the team and a massive thank you to Mohamed and our wonderful local team in Morocco for helping make the adventure so special.

Curious about trekking to the highest point in North Africa next?

🌅 Last night, more than 40 people gathered beneath the slopes of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) with one shared purpose: to keep men and boys alive.

As the sun dipped behind the mountains and darkness slowly settled across Eryri, teams made their way towards the summit.

Some walked in memory of loved ones. Some walked for friends. Some walked for themselves. Every person carried their own story, their own reason for being there.

There is something incredibly powerful about people coming together in the mountains. Away from the noise and distractions of everyday life. Just walking, talking, listening and supporting one another, one step at a time.

The Men’s Minds Matter Snowdon Sunset Summit is about far more than reaching the highest peak in England and Wales at 1085m. It’s about connection, conversation and reminding people that nobody has to face life’s challenges alone.

Just one of the incredibly moving moments came long after darkness had fallen, with Men’s Minds Matter Founders, Dr Luke Sullivan and Nigel Sanderson alongside Mike Pastor, remaining until the very end to welcome every last trekker safely off the mountain and present them with their richly deserved medals. A simple but powerful reminder that every person matters.

Congratulations to each and every person who took part. Your determination, courage and support for one another was truly inspiring to witness and reminds us just how important these treks are.

A huge thank you also goes to our incredible team of Leaders and Assistant Leaders. The level of care, encouragement and professionalism shown throughout the evening was truly outstanding and helped make the event so very special.

Together, we climbed a mountain. More importantly, together we continued an important conversation.

🇻🇳 Ewe on Adventure 🇰🇭

Travelling through landscapes, not past them 🚴🏼‍♀️

There’s no better way to experience Vietnam and Cambodia than by bike.

Pedal through emerald rice paddies, quiet rural villages and bustling market towns. Share smiles with local people of all generations, stop for an iced-coffee beside the Mekong Delta and watch daily life unfold around you as you travel at the perfect pace.

No distractions. No windows separating you from the landscape. Just the freedom of two wheels and the journey ahead.

This is a journey of contrasts. From the energy of Ho Chi Minh City and floating markets to the ancient wonder of Angkor Wat. Along the way, you’ll discover a side of Southeast Asia that many travellers simply pass through.

With full vehicle support, experienced local guides and carefully selected routes, this adventure is about immersion, connection and discovery rather than racing from one place to the next.

⭐️ Guaranteed departure: 3 to 11 October 2026.
⭐️ Additional departures are also available this year and next.

💙 “I experienced Iceland in a way that makes me eager, even anxious, to return as soon as possible...”

There’s no higher compliment than hearing someone say a trip has found a place in their soul.

From soaking in geothermal rivers and beaches to swimming between continents at Silfra, hiking colourful volcanic landscapes and sharing Iceland’s outdoor culture with local guides, this is Iceland experienced the way Icelanders do.

Not from behind a coach window. Not from a crowded viewing platform.
But through the water, the trails, the stories and the landscapes that shape everyday life here.

As Michelle from last year’s adventure beautifully put it:
“I was speechless at times when I realised where I was and what I was doing.”

Led by our wonderful Icelandic team and experienced and super friendly swim guide Anna, you’ll hike to naturally heated rivers, soak in geothermal pools, explore volcanic landscapes and discover why swimming is such an important part of Icelandic life and culture.

If you’ve ever dreamed of exploring Iceland beyond the usual tourist trail, this is your chance.

Today is World Oceans Day 🌊

The ocean gives us so much. Adventure. It shapes many of the incredible places we’re fortunate to explore across the planet.
It also reminds us why travelling responsibly matters.

Single use plastic pollution continues to have a devastating impact on oceans and waterways worldwide. While no single action solves the problem alone, small consistent choices collectively make a real difference.

That’s why every new overseas traveller joining an Adventurous Ewe trip receives a free bottle, helping reduce the need for single use plastic bottles whilst travelling. Returning participants also receive a free replacement filter as part of our ongoing commitment to travelling more responsibly.

We’re proud to be one of only two adventure travel companies providing these bottles free of charge to travellers as part of their adventure.

It’s a simple step, but one that reflects something bigger. Exploring the world whilst helping protect it for future generations too.

Big Adventures. Small Footprints.

Join us for your next adventure 💦

🇸🇪 Happy National Day, Sweden! 🇸🇪

Today Sweden celebrates its National Day, commemorating the election of Gustav Vasa as King of Sweden in 1523, a key moment in the country’s history and independence.

A few reasons we love Sweden:
🌲 Nearly 70% of the country is covered by forests, creating vast landscapes of wilderness, lakes and mountains to explore.
🥾 Sweden is home to the legendary Kungsleden, or King’s Trail, one of the world’s great long-distance trails, stretching through the heart of Swedish Lapland.
🌌 During winter, Swedish Lapland becomes one of Europe’s best places to witness the Northern Lights, with dark skies and remote mountain landscapes offering a front row seat to nature’s greatest light show.
❄️ As snow blankets the Arctic north, the King’s Trail transform into a true winter wilderness, where snowshoeing becomes the way to traverse hut-to-hut through this remarkable landscape.

It’s this combination of wild spaces, Arctic beauty and simple mountain life that keeps drawing us back.

If exploring Sweden’s far north under the glow of the Northern Lights sounds like your kind of adventure, join us on our King’s Trail Arctic Snowshoe & Northern Lights in March 2027.

Today is World Bicycle Day 🚲

Perfect time for Ewe on a bike!

Travelling through landscapes, not past them.

There’s something special about exploring a destination by bike. You notice more. The roadside cafés. The conversations. The changing landscapes. The scent of pine forests, coffee plantations, sea air and mountain trails as you travel under your own steam.

From the rolling hills of Rwanda and rice paddies of Vietnam to Costa Rica’s wild coastlines and Sri Lanka’s quieter backroads, cycling offers a deeper connection to the places, every-day life and a better opportunity to meet locals along the way.

No barriers. No windows separating you from the landscape. Just the simple freedom of two wheels and the journey ahead.

A bicycle may be one of the simplest inventions ever created, but it remains one of the best ways to experience the world.
