What. A. Day!🇳🇵

Join us in congratulating our fantastic Everest Marathon finishers! 👏👏👏

Today, they crossed the finish line of the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon, the highest marathon in the world, following an extraordinary journey from Everest Base Camp in the extreme cold, snow, ice and altitude through the heart of the Khumbu Valley to Namche Bazaar.

As Jane perfectly summed it up:
“I did it!!! Toughest thing I’ve ever done but I ❤️ed every minute!”

A huge congratulations to every single runner from across the globe.

Months of training, days of trekking at altitude and one incredible race day have all led to this moment.

A special thank you to our incredible local team whose encouragement, expertise and genuine care carried the group every step of the way. We simply couldn’t do these adventures without them.

And of course, a massive thank you to our merry band of trekkers who were waiting in Namche Bazaar with a barrage of cheers, support and celebrations as our runners crossed the finish line. What a welcome!

This is what adventure is all about. Challenge, teamwork, determination and sharing the journey together.

Fancy joining us next year?

Ewe on Adventure🇳🇵

Nepal. A place that shifts perspectives.
And Yala Peak? One of the Himalaya’s best kept secrets and an adventure well worth saying yes to.

From the busy streets of Kathmandu to the peaceful trails of the Langtang Valley, this journey takes you deep into the heart of the Nepalese Himalayas.

Trek beneath towering snow-covered peaks, through traditional Tamang villages and peaceful Buddhist landscapes before climbing Yala Peak at 5550m alongside Everest summiteer and our hugely experienced local Nepalese team.

Designed for adventurous trekkers looking to take the next step into Himalayan mountaineering, there is time during the expedition to learn and practice basic mountaineering skills ahead of your summit push.

Then comes summit day.

Standing on Yala Peak’s small summit amidst fluttering prayer flags, surrounded by mighty 360-degree Himalayan peaks in every direction, is one of those moments that makes every step of the journey worthwhile.

There is still chance to join Jo on our October 2026 Yala Peak Expedition. Why not put yourself in the frame.

Live from the trails in Nepal 🇳🇵

Our Everest Marathon runners set off from a very cold Everest Base Camp at 7am local time this morning and are making fantastic progress down the Khumbu Valley.

As of now, the whole team has reached Dingboche and doing well. They are now approaching the Bibre Loop, which marks approximately 21.5km of the course completed. Next up is Tengboche, another 11km further on.

Meanwhile, our Everest Base Camp trekkers are waiting at the finish line in Namche Bazaar, ready to cheer the team home.

The men’s and women’s race winners have already crossed the line and excitement is building as our runners continue their journey towards the finish.

Adding to the buzz, organisers have also announced an exciting brand new event, the Royal Trek Triathlon, combining swimming, cycling and running beneath some of the world’s highest mountains.

A huge well done to everyone out on the course today. What a place to run a marathon.

Please leave your messages of support for the team below 👇

And if you’d like to be part of next year’s Everest Marathon adventure, join us and Everest Summiteer for an experience unlike any other.

Live from the trails in Nepal 🇳🇵

Tonight marks the final evening together for our Everest Base Camp Trek & Everest Marathon team before the journey splits in two.

Tomorrow, our marathon runners head to race camp ahead of the Everest Marathon on Friday 29 May, while our trekkers begin their descent towards Namche Bazaar ready to cheer the team across the finish line.

The team have been putting in some brilliant marathon practice alongside our fantastic local Assistant Guide, Jiten, who will also support as back marker on race day. Spirits are high, legs are definitely feeling the altitude, and race day is starting to feel very real.

Over the past few days the group acclimatised in Dingboche, trekking the Bibre loop towards the marathon turnaround point before continuing to Chukkung at 4730m. The journey onwards to Lobuche also brought one of the most reflective moments of the trek so far, passing through the Everest memorial site above Zugla beneath huge Himalayan skies.

A huge mention as well to for her fantastic leadership, calm support and vast high altitude experience throughout the journey so far. Alongside Jo, our wonderful local guide Raj and the wider Nepalese crew have been positively instrumental, bringing warmth, encouragement and invaluable local knowledge to every single day on the trail.

Please join us in congratulating our trekkers on reaching Everest Base Camp and wishing our marathon runners the very best of luck for race day on Friday. What an incredible challenge at altitude and an inspiring team effort from everyone involved 👏👏👏

Ewe on Adventure

From India’s chaos to Himalayan calm.

One moment you’re immersed in the colour, noise and energy of Delhi. The next, standing quietly beneath snow covered Himalayan peaks, prayer flags fluttering in the mountain air and monks chanting softly in distant monasteries.

This journey takes you far beyond the classic image of India.

Marvel at the Taj Mahal. Explore the spiritual heart of Dharamshala, home of the Dalai Lama and Tibetan Buddhism. Trek through pine forests, remote mountain villages and quiet Himalayan trails traditionally used only by locals.

Along the journey, expect steaming chai stops, warm welcomes, ancient temples, incredible home-cooked food and a deeper connection to a side of India many travellers never truly experience.

This is India at its most contrasting, captivating and rewarding.

☀️Wow! What a brilliant Bank Holiday weekend for our iconic Snowdon Yr Wyddfa Challenge.

A blanket of clear blue skies across Eryri Snowdonia, two fantastic groups, an incredible team of Leaders, and a full day spent on bikes, in boots and in boats.

From cycling through the back roads of Eryri and trekking to the summit of Yr Wyddfa at 1085m, to kayaking across the beautiful Llyn Padarn amidst the mountains, it really does not get much better than this.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and to our brilliant Leaders for making a great day even better.

Huge congratulations to our recent Manaslu Circuit team🇳🇵

Taking on one of Nepal’s more remote, wilder and less trodden trekking circuits through high mountain passes, ancient villages and spectacular Himalayan landscapes few get to experience.

Big days on the trail. Big team spirit. Big adventure. And big thanks to the team!

Ready to trek in the shadows of the mighty Manaslu at 8156m….

In the Moment

Floating silently between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates in Iceland.

The Silfra Fissure is the only place on earth where you can swim between two continents, making this one of the most unique wild swimming experiences anywhere on the planet.

The water is so clear it barely seems real, the volcanic rock walls stretching beneath you as two continents slowly drift apart below the surface.

This is not just a swim. It’s a feeling of pure admiration for the natural world, immersed in an environment so unique and surreal it hardly feels real.

This is what brings a massive smile to our faces and the perfect start to the bank holiday weekend 😊

A wonderful surprise gift from the ever inspiring following her recent self guided adventures in Japan on the Kumano Kodo and Nakasendo Trails 🇯🇵

It was pure joy following both of Anne’s journeys through her daily updates, from quiet forest trails and mountain villages to life on the trail in rural Japan. And now this… beautiful treats arriving all the way from Tokyo really is the icing on the cake.

Thank you so very, very much Anne. It’s been an absolute pleasure helping you explore such a special part of the world.

Our cockles are well and truly warmed all through this sunny bank holiday weekend in Snowdonia. Have a wonderful weekend all.

Live from the trails of Nepal…🇳🇵⛰️

Our Everest Base Camp & Everest Marathon team are now well underway in the Khumbu region, today taking on an acclimatisation day from Namche Bazaar (3,440m) — the famous gateway to Everest.

More than just a trekking stop, Namche is a vibrant Sherpa town where mountain culture, Tibetan Buddhism, colourful markets and expedition life all come together. Right now, Leader reports that the trails are buzzing with trekkers and ultra runners from across the world, all making their way towards Everest Base Camp and the legendary Everest Marathon.

The atmosphere on the trail is building brilliantly already and the team are doing really well. This morning even included a fun downhill practice run after the acclimatisation hike to help everyone get a feel for the terrain ahead… and safe to say spirits are high. 🙌

Next up the team continue deeper into the mountains towards Tengboche (3,860m) and Dingboche (4,400m), before another acclimatisation trek to Chukkung (4,730m).

Please leave the team some messages of support and good luck below. They’ll love reading them out on the trail. ❤️
