Cathedral Ruins are being used for filming. Disgracefully they have been allowed to erect gazebos in Villa colours!

Amazed that six months after it seemed like the work was finished at Palmer Lane, the barriers are STILL up! The floods in November did gouge out thr topsoil on the banks leaving gullies which haven't been filled in, and unbelievably there's no bin when it's designed for people to sit down and eat ot drink. No sign of any work going on for months. It could genuinely be that they've forgotten to remove the fences!

After 18 months of being closed due to restoration work, we are delighted to share the Tower Climb is reopening on Saturday 23rd May!

Weather permitting it will be open Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th and Monday 25th May from 11-3pm each day.

Then open every Sat and Sun after.

Coventry Transport Museum have a new collection. Most of it they were selling in the War Memorial Park on Monday, but today I became the first owner of one of their open top bus pin badges!

Visit Coventry are asking for views on on their five year action plan.

They say: "Visit Coventry need your voice, expertise, insight, and perspectives to shape the development of a new five-year Tourism Action Plan for the city of Coventry."

"They want to represent all stakeholders so please do take just 10 minutes of your time to shape a collective future and complete the survey which will directly feed into the action plan for the city."

At about 9 this morning I was at the site of a wall which made up part of the former Whitefriars Monastery, which was closed by Henry VIII in the 1530s. That wall stood for almost 500 years after that closure, until this month when Coventry City Council had it demolished.
