Cruising has been a passion of mine since my early childhood, and over the years I have gained invaluable experience of all aspects of cruising. I first set foot on a ship in 1967, and it has been hard to keep me off the ships ever since. Cruising has come a long way since those early days when cruise liners were three and four deep at Southampton docks. I was very fortunate to ever be given the o

pportunity to cruise at such an early age. I continued to cruise regularly throughout my childhood, and have early memories of sailing into New York onboard Canberra and celebrating many Christmases at sea, whilst my friends stayed at home in the cold. When I left school I had a determination to work onboard a cruise ship but it wasn’t to be, but I continued to cruise.

Castellón De La Plana

It was awards evening for the group this evening and I won a fab Crystal Cruises goodie bag full of loveliness, for my social media posts that I’ve been sharing. I was sharing it anyway, so a prize is a Brucie bonus . I glad Crystal love my ramblings as much as you have done. It’s just me, being me, on a ship and embracing every moment. I was quoted as writing “I twirled, I drank, I had a fab meal. I drank cocktails. Can I go to bed now”

Dinner this evening was in Umi Uma - The only Nobu Restaurant at Sea. I know my host was concerned because I don’t eat Sushi, raw fish etc, but it would never stop me going. I had looked at the menu before I embarked so I knew there were choices on the menu for me.

We were seated on the big circular feature table in the centre of the restaurant. I tried my hardest not to look at the raw fish and octopus tentacles in the counter as I passed it. The waiter had a very commanding voice, which I guess he had to be with a table this size. It was fascinating watching all the various sushi dishes, and another foodie word they were all using, be delivered to the table. Every plate of food looked stunning. As long as the sommelier kept my glass topped up with w**e I was happy. I did eat! I had Mushroom soup and Salmon and rice. There were cooked food choices on the menu, but the raw fish stuff turns my stomach over just thinking about it.

Mid meal we were treated to the most amazing sunset. The restaurant literally emptied faster than if there had been an abandon ship announcement. What a fabulous finalè to our few days on this Crystal Voyage! Thankfully the sea had had a word with its self by this point and had flattened itself out a bit. Earlier in the evening it was quite a different story. Requests were in the WhatsApp chat for seasickness medication.

Desert was on another level. Everything that everyone chose was delightful. I had the trio of Crème Brulè. Absolutely Devine, and there were a lot of joyous noises coming from those that chose the Wh**ky Cappuccino.

The dining on Crystal Serenity has been exceptional. If you are a foodie Crystal are a cruise line for you.

I went to the show again after dinner. I know, hold the front page. Two shows in two nights. It was Jeff Stevenson the Comedian this evening in Galaxy Lounge. I don’t do shows and I don’t do comedians but I did laugh and giggle. Castellón De La Plana was the butt of most of his jokes! He clearly had the same opinion as me, and the majority of passengers, of the place and kept questioning why we had been there! It is the back end of nowhere. My advice is just don’t go there. I could have Nanna Napped instead of wasting my time there. I’m glad I don’t have a fridge magnet. It’s not worthy of my fridge.

The dance host were busy in the plaza and we stoped by to observe for a while. Then we walked aft to the Saloon, found a sofa and settled down for a cocktail and listened to Mr Piano man blast out some tunes and joined in for the occasional singalong. I love the atmosphere in there. It’s not a pub, it’s more intimate, but always busy in a good way.

I keep meaning to say about late night snacks. Mr C would not need to go in search of Scooby Snacks late at night. The Scooby Snacks come to you. Tray after tray of Pizza, spring rolls, sweet treats and other delights. They go round the late night venues just offering food. This evening the pizza did tempt me and it was excellent pizza!

But sadly this little trip had come to an end. I have packed and it looks like I will be dragging my case off myself. Cases had to be outside the suite by 9:00pm if you wanted them collected. I don’t know of any other cruise line that collects cases that early. So Crystal you have dropped a mark for that one. I have another long day at Barcelona airport tomorrow. The 10:05 flight was such a temptation but it was too tight, so I sit around all day waiting for the teatime flight.
I have had the most amazing time. I feel fully versed in all things Crystal Cruises. So you know where I am if you want to book!

Thank you for keeping up with me. Thank you for all your lovely comments

When am I off again? When is the next cruise to take you all along with me? I would love to say very soon, but not for a while. Unless of course there is a cruise line out there that has a lovely little invite for me. I do have a few weeks spare 😜

It’s not the prettiest of ports, by any stretch of the imagination. I woke up to a wall of sea containers.

Breakfast this morning was in The Bistro and very pleasant it was too. I chose my own fruit, and muffin from a good selection, and vanilla latte and fresh orange juice was waiter service.

I had a quick catch up with lizy back in the office, who is holding the fort superbly. Then had a very long conversation with Kate about chickens. She needs chicken in her life apparently. She has a two year plan to obtain said chickens and I’m liking her business sense in her approach to this.

We had a catch up with the lovely Cruise Director this morning in the Lounge. He is such an entertaining man, and clearly loves what he does. Interesting to hear hear his back story. Fascinating in fact. I love any insight in to onboard cruise planning so it was a very informative half hour. Of course he finished on a song from when he was in Mama Mia on Broadway. Loved it.

I had decided I was going ashore. I know! Shock! Horror! But it’s bit of a rule with me that if I haven’t been to a port, I venture ashore. A couple of guests in the lift advised me not to do it. But do I ever listen? I got down the gangway and the shuttle bus came pretty quickly. It was a long way, it seemed it anyway. I knew the buses were every half hour, so I planned to be back on the next bus. Drop off point wasn’t enticing and in hindsight I should have stayed on the bus and gone back. Spotted a cathedral and a tower thing tmso aimed for that. Lovely. Tick in the box. Walked down shopping street. Ok shops, nothing spectacular, doubled back down the next street in the hope of obtaining a fridge magnet. Clearly tourism is not a thing here because not a magnet in sight. Got back to the shuttle stop in time for the bus on the hour, 10 mins to spare, but missed a bus my a hares breath 😠
It was 44 degs. I was not a happy bunny. I don’t do waiting especially in that heat. There was a lime tree for shade and it wasn’t doing very good job. To say I was melting is an understatement. Half an hour we waited for a bus! And then he went the longest way around and we swapped drivers at the bus offices. Clearly it was his lunch break. I was beginning to think I would never see the ship again. They would have been better dropping us at the beach not far from the port gates. I have a feeling that this port was more for the ships benefit than the guests. Or maybe I’m missing something. If you see it on an itinerary I highly recommend a ship day. I don’t even have a fridge magnet to show for my efforts 😞

Straight up to Beef Bar for a KFC which I’m told is the best chicken ever. It did not disappoint and certainly hit the spot with some classic fries and Heinz ketchup. Katiepants would approve. I washed it down with a cocktail of the day, which today is Vida Paloma, and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Don’t worry I had two glasses of water too.

And so to the suite for a much needed shower and a lie down. Speaking of showers. There is a whole menu of choice of shower facilities. Body jets, hand held or massive rain shower. Or go the whole hog and have all three.

As the old boy in Mary Poppins says: “There’s a storm brewing” according to Reflections we have set sail half an hour before the “All aboard” time (I’m sure someone checked all guests are present and accounted for lol) The sea does not look in a good mood and its rough inside the breakwater so goodness knows what it’s like at sea! It’s thunder and lightning. A cushion from top deck is in the sea, so yes, an interesting departure. I’m guessing the Captain saw that coming and instructed it was safer to let go the lines 🤷‍♀️ I’m no Captain, who knows!

I was ready well ahead of schedule this evening, so I had a little photo session on the balcony, incase I didn’t get chance to get a photo later lol. I know you are all here for the dress, shoes and bag. Then I went for a little mooch around to see what I had missed around this lovely ship.
I had time to go and find a barstool so had a nice reflective moment at the bar at Crystal Cove, and took up residence at the bar with a Raspberry Limoncello Martini listening to the cocktail pianist. Perfect!

Crystal Cruises still have photographer’s on board and I can’t say I had noticed them until this evening. This is six star luxury so they are not in your face and taking up prime spots. They are just there, discreetly tucked away, there if you want them, without being annoying. Anyway we had a big group photo. The logistics of getting everyone in shot were lengthy! But the Cruise Director came and jumped in on the shot in his own unique style. Sadly I don’t have a copy to show you. But it was funny!

Dinner this evening is in Osteria d’Ovidio - Italian, if you hadn’t guessed. Again the attention to detail with tableware was exceptional. Loved the glassware. The menu was complicated after a cocktail or two. Basically three regions of Italy. Could choose a tasting menu of everything from one region, or select as normal and do mix and match from all three. Then there were the specials. My choices got very confusing and mixed up, either I misunderstood him, or he misunderstood me.

The Olive oil and Balsamic combo was chefs kiss. Was I paranoid that I was going to drip it down my silk dress, how I didn’t I don’t know.
The Minestrone soup was everything I wanted it to be, and more.
Then I thought I was having a small portion of the Bolognese special as an appetiser, and then the lamb. I somehow ended up with lamb, which was as soft as velvet by the way, and then a Bolognese on the side. Both amazingly delicious, but together? Add to that, the Lasagna that was ordered a sharing dish for the table, and I had a lot of food infront of me all at once.
Desert I choose the Peach Bellini sorbet. I didn’t know whether to drink it or use a spoon. Popping candy at the bottom though so I had to do my best to finish it.
The Tiramisu was the added extra bit of theatre that we didn’t know we needed at dinner time. All made from scratch table side. Tasted dam good too.

I decided I needed some retail therapy after dinner, so I took myself to the boutiques. The Mary Frances bags were a delight. They didn’t have the pink Flamingo one though, they I really should have purchased in Enchanted Princess earlier this year. I did like the book style bags though. I especially liked the Italy one. Did I need it? Did I want it?! Come on Jane, get what you came for and get out before this gets expensive.
Somehow I fell into the jewellery and watch shops too. Rolex Submariner for $22k and the pink sapphire bracelet for $48k. Which one do you think I went for. One was a need, one was a want!

We went to a show this evening in Galaxy Lounge and we chose a good one. Billy Joel tribute. It was really good, but I thought there would have been more singing and dancing in the isles type thing, but maybe a Crystal audience is a little more reserved. Did I take advantage of the darkness at one point and just check the inside of my eyelids for a moment? You see, this is exactly why I don’t do shows on any ship. Comfy seat, lights out, it’s almost an invitation after a good meal and a few drinks.

We ended up in Avenue Saloon. Standing room only this evening. So we partied at the bar and sang along to the songs. He was in guitar this evening, but of course Billy Joel came and joined him for a few songs at the piano. Another great evening onboard Crystal Serenity. Pulse night club seemed to be on the cards, so I slipped away quietly and headed to my suite before anyone tried to convince me the nightclub was a good idea. Look at me with my sensible head, who knew I even had one!

I got back to the suite to see a gift on my bed. No idea what all that is about , but they are beautiful and I will make sure my foot fits in them.

Is it hump day already!
Well I survived the social encounter of breakfast arriving. I contemplated breakfast in the balcony but I was on the noisy dock side of the ship, plus that would be a whole other conversation with the Butler. As lovely as he is, I don’t do conversation this early in the day, especially after a big night out. I thought he would have set breakfast up on the dining table, I had retreated back to the bedroom by now, but he chose the coffee table and sofa setting. I’m not feeling quite with it. I managed the coffee and a bit of the salmon bagel but the bed called me back. For the next hour I lay looking across at breakfast wondering how much effort there would be in getting my cornflakes to the bed. There was quite a lot of effort actually! The logistics were mind blowing, but I got there and back eventually.

I really should make an effort to at least get dressed and get out on deck. It’s predicted 40 degs today, so we might all melt. The group are going ashore and are off out for Paella, but it would be wasted on me, and I’m happy with a ship day.

I did manage to drag myself in the shower and get out on the balcony. But Jeeze it’s hot, so decided to go for a wander. I love the tiered aft decks on Serenity. She is a good old school design. I found the PGA golf nets. I notice the clubs were labelled men and ladies, and labelled left hand right hand. It’s the little things! Table tennis on both sides of the ship too. No crazy guests out in this heat playing or practicing in the golf nets either. Not a sole on Prom deck. There were a few die hards sat up by the Seahorse pool. The heat is intense. A couple of the ladies from the group were sat under the shade so I stopped by for a chat before they headed ashore for their Paella. I was going to go in and find some air conditioning to cool down, but another lady dropped by, so it seemed rude not to partake in a Cocktail of the day as we chatted.

I’ve retreated to the suite. I must have creased the bed linen because I noticed I have freshly laundered sheets and pillow cases. It seemed only fair that I had another shower before laying on the bed and creasing them again. The balcony is in full sun and scorching. I opened the door to stick my head out and instantly every mirror in the suite missed over.

I don’t appear to have a Reflections daily news sheet for today, or if I did I have misplaced it. So I looked on the in suite tablet to see what’s happening. Handy gadget. I like it!

For those that often ask me about solo travel. I noted that Solo guests seem very well catered for on Crystal. Solo meet ups and today’s shared table for dining is at Beef Bar, for those that don’t want to dine alone.

I think I’m zapped. I might just need a bit of a Nanna Nap.

Canapés were earlier today. Good job, because I was feeling a bit peckish. I skipped lunch!

We are off to Osteria Italian restaurant for dinner this evening, a little earlier than usual so we can make sure we get to the Billy Joel show later. It’s going to be another good evening onboard Crystal Serenity. It’s a good job I am well rested.

Ok, my last post was a lot. A lot of info. A lot of photos. A lot to digest. But hey, I’m a busy girl. You want the info. I deliver!

Let me condense this evening. I twirled. I drank. I had a fab meal. I drank cocktails. I had a good evening can I go to bed now? Ok, you want the detail.

So pre dinner drinks were planned to be in Crystal Cove. It was busy, so we improvised and made use of the sofas across the way. Cocktail delivery was just as slick.

Dinner this evening was in BeefBar and on my life. Put it on the to do list (you might need to book a Crystal cruise first) what an absolute fabulous evening. Ordering from menu was easy. Just bring everything to share please. The appetisers just ticked every box! The steak was amazing. I went for fillet and it just melted in the mouth . Perfect
We did the sharing thing for desert too. It’s the way to go. I loved the quirkiness of this evening. Sensible bonkersness, served in a sensible professional way is how is how I would describe it. Maybe it was just our table that made it bonkers and it was supposed to be a sensible evening. Relaxed dining. Maybe that’s the way it’s best described 🤔

I believe we ended up in Avenue Saloon after dinner. It was a sort of sings long piano fest, with a saxophonist and guest singer thrown in. Add to that a cardboard box and some safety tape as a drum, and you have a full blown band night in an intimate venue. Did I love it. Hell yes!

I went for a bit of a wander. In reality it was in search of the facilities, which were eventually located in a roundabout sort of way. There was a much gentler feel to the evening in Crystal Plaza. A violinist and soothing tunes.
I had a nosey in the nightclub, it’s small but beautifully formed.
The Cigar Lounge was very Gentleman Club vibe. I don’t mind the smell of a cigar, and a lie down on a sofa was tempting! I made my way back to Avenue Saloon but they let me down when I asked for a southern Comfort as my nightcap. No Southern Comfort. What is it with cruise ships that don’t stock Southern Comfort?

And so to my suite. It bed time. Do you see what I’m faced with? Lights! Let battle commence! But first I need to complete my in suite breakfast menu. What am I to do in the morning when that arrives? It’s always Mr Cs job to answer the door and do the pleasantries in a morning. I’m more of a pull the duvet over my head kind of girl. In the absence of Mr C …. I really dont know how this will pan out in the morning.

Last hurdle of the night. The lights! I’ve got this I did it in one swoop, or at. Least I thought I did. There is one pesky little light in the bathroom under all the units. I’ve not found his destroy button yet!

We were treated to a six star sunrise this morning. Mr C you missed out! Well actually he didn’t because I FaceTimed him. It was stunning. The sun gets up very late over here compared to home.

Breakfast this morning was in Waterside which the full waiter service. They don’t seem to do small portions on here. All delightful though.

We had a presentation this morning so more in depth learning of Crystal cruises and everything they offer. I need to earn my keep! Then we had a ships tour including some of the different suites which I will share with you at some point.

I loved The Vintage Room. A private dining area with bespoke menu and w**e pairing to match the occasion. What a fabulous setting. And I love the fact that they document every event held in there since the year dot. How special for those that have hired this space for their private function. It is chargeable and cost very much depends on what menu is chosen etc. I thought some of you might appreciate that rather large bottle of w**e. Don’t ask the cost!

We had a look at the spa and the gym. I will not be frequenting any gyms in the near future, but from what I could see there seemed to be a vast collection of equipment and more than enough to go around. I’m sure those in to their fitness would be impressed with the space.

If deck sports are more your thing there is a big sports court, various bats and balls, gold nets, shuffleboard. And ice boxes full of ice cold water on all the open decks. Speaking of open decks. Look at this for a teak wrap around Prom deck. Did I walk in the direction of the arrow? You decide 😉

The children’s facilities were cute. Small but perfectly formed and I’m sure any youngster would be happy with their own bit of space. I spotted the Nintendo’s so I know a certain little lady would be happy.

We have had a weather warning for extreme heat. It’s too hot for me again. Cartagena is a lovely little port, with easy walkable access in to town, but the effort was too much for me. I managed a walk to the end of the pier for a photo of the ship and I was back onboard as fast as the heat would allow me to walk. Some guests had taken a sensible approach and taken a ships umbrella for use as a shade from the sun. It’s definitely a hot one 🥵

I’ve just had a full orientation of Marketplace and Trident Grill, so enjoy what was on offer for lunch today. I settled for a wrap of the day from Trident Grill, a very nice chicken wrap with a mint dressing. But again, it was massive. Mr C where are you when I need you. I felt bad for leaving half a wrap but it was too much for me. I washed it down with a nice Cocktail of the day, which today was Wild Berry Spritz.

I found the ships model. Don’t think that one will fit on my office shelf though. Shops aren’t open today but I have window shopped. Betty Johnson bags are dangerous news! And the jewellery store has some nice sparkly bits. You know what I’m like with diamonds! Onboard boutiques are closed all day today though because we are in port until 22:30. Probably just as well.

I’m loving The Lounge area. Nice airy space with comfortable seating if you just want a bit of quiet time. Speaking of quiet time, the Library looked very inviting for a curl up with a nice book, or somewhere quiet to catch up with a bit of work. Very well stocked too.

But do you know what, I think that’s enough for today. I think I’ve earnt my Nanna Nap. No doubt the Butler soon be Butler’ing, so I will rely on him as my alarm clock.
He didn’t let me down and I wake to this little tray of delights! Mr C would love those scooby snacks

Lots going on today and this evening according to Crystal Reflections, and this being Crystal six star cruising there is a personal electronic version of Reflections in every suite too, full of lots of all sorts of useful information and deck plans etc. I’m liking the suggested Future Cruise too! Wonder if I could slip that one in 🤔

Monday 17 August 2026

Well that was one hell of an introduction to Crystal Cruises! This evening was White Night onboard, and on Crystal is a big thing! And did this ship party. It is held in Crystal Plaza and it’s quite the event!
I should maybe say at this point that we joined this cruise on night four of its seven night cruise.

But let me rewind a bit. The evening started in Palm Court for Cocktails and introductions. Quite a few officers and crew dropped by to welcome us, which was a lovely touch, plus of course the all important Future Cruise Manager. As agents we do love a Future Cruise Manager, and I love them as a guest too. Why wouldn’t you rebook onboard and take advantage of the book onboard perks.

The drinks and canapés were most definitely flowing. The lovely visited and Bartender didn’t get much respite.
We sailed from Malaga at 19:30 and the rest of the group went out on top deck but I could see the wind was blowing a bit of a breeze across the open deck so I done what I usually do and took up residence at the bar. Dolphins were about in abundance apparently, on both sides of the ship.

Then it was down to Crystal Cove for more pre dinner drinks, before heading to dinner in Waterside which is the main dining room onboard. It was at this point I regretted not being able to fit a Nanna Nap in to my daily schedule. I swear if I had closed my eyes I would have fallen asleep at the table. The food and presentation was exceptional. Very big portions too, in my opinion. The lovely waiter kept having a bit of an inquest, but I just couldn’t finish anything. I chose turkey for my main and it was superb. But way too big a portion for me. Mr C is definitely missing out.

So White Night in the Crystal Plaza! Well they said wear white so naturally that gave me the perfect excuse for a bit of pre cruise retail therapy. The shoes came first. They have been on my hit list for a while, so they were straight in the basket when we were advised to pack accordingly for white night. But the dress was not as simple. Several came and went, via different deliveries, but they weren’t right for the shoes. Hopefully you approve of the one I chose.
To the lovely Gentleman that came and chased after me up the stairs in the Plaza to compliment me, and was on Explora Journeys at the same time as us in the Caribbean. Thank you for catching up with me. I never thought to get a photo too. Enjoy your time on Crystal. You sounded like you were really enjoying it.

But yes, White Night (I’m all over the place with this catch up aren’t I) the Plaza was jumping. The band certainly got the party going. The dance floor was packed. What an amazing atmosphere. The Cruise Director joined in the fun in his ABBA outfit. Had his own little podium too! I got a bit of a second wind. I’m really not sure where I pulled that from. All the party dances were out. There was line dancing, YMCA, Night Fever, conga. You name it they did and the guests were packing the dance floor all night.

But, up on deck 8 my bed was screaming for me. I could hear it loud and clear. I had to cave in eventually. But I did do White Night, so I gave myself a pat on the back for my achievement.

It’s criminal to leave this suite really. I opened the door and it’s my own little haven. I was a good girl and hung my dress up. Got the make up off, half of which appeared to have slid down my face anyway. That’s what getting ready in a rush does for you.

And then it started. What did? The how to turn the bloody lights off thing! Earlier when I was rushing to get ready to go out. My two maids (yes there are two maids and a Butler) came and knocked the door to say hello, ask if I needed anything. I kept saying no thank you I’m ok, and felt a bit rude, but I was rushing and going to be late. Their last question was “would you like us to show you how the light switches work” seemed odd and I declined the offer. Truth is, would my brain have stored the information if they had shown me? Needless to say, I had to resort to the group Whattsapp chat to work out how to get the dressing table lights off. It turns out I wasn’t alone. Several of us were having a fight with one light or another. It sounds simple to just flick a switch and turn the lights off. But you should see the amount of light switches dotted around this suite.

Eventually I got in bed and started to read your comments from my earlier post. And you want to see the shoes! So what do I do? I put the lights back on and give the shoes their own little photo shoot! My iPhone camera does not do them justice. The pearls and diamantés in the pompom thing are stunning. But I tried.

Time to turn off the little light Jane and put the phone down. Little reading light off. Duvet up, snuggle down. The bedside tables are glowing from below. Surely they turn themselves off. Apparently not. On goes the big light. 32 combination of light switching, lounge light is on, off, on, off. Wait someone else in WhatsApp asked about the bedside floor lights off. Problem solved. Now the dam bathroom light is on. Don’t mess with the bedside lights Jane, just get up and turn the bathroom light off. That turns the lounge light on again! Walk through the bathroom, open other door and turn lights off there? No that is the big bathroom light. Ah, there’s a light switch by the mirror in the bathroom. All lights are off. And I’m in pitch black darkness, trying to navigate my way back to bed without daring to touch a light switch! Where is Mr C when I need him. Thinking about it, it’s probably a good thing he’s not here because would have lost his cool with me by now lol

That has been more of a ramble than a review of this lovely ship. I will buckle down and concentrate for the next update. I will show you much more of the ship, I just need to settle in, slow down and get my bearings.

Monday 17 August 2026
I woke up in Malaga this morning! And I woke me up to the perfect view of this little beauty 🚢
Yes, it’s time to take you along on another cruise ship adventure with me for a few days.

I stayed at the AC Marriott last night in Malaga and had a lovely view of the ship before the sun even got up this morning but was just a short taxi ride to the ship, the only ship in port which confused the taxi driver because he wasn’t aware the ship was turning round for new passengers today. It wasn’t, so he didn’t need to ge concerned. Just drive me to the port please.

Check in was beyond swift. I was checked off the manifest and directed to security. Now, I struggled here. I had to lift my big case and deposit it directly into the scanner. No table or rollers to lift it on to. Just straight on the scanner hole. I struggled. And dear darling Spanish security lady just rolled her eyes at me!
Through the duty free area and I’m flagging. Then a Crystal god appeared and wheeled my cases from there. I love that man! Quick check of the passport at the gangway, nipped down to guest services for full check in, and my beautiful Serenity Suite is ready.

Oh I love this. Beautiful lounge area with lovely comfy sofa. Big flat screen TV. Walk in wardrobe. Well lit dressing table. fully stocked mini bar, w**e, ch*****ne on on ice. Big bed all to myself. Massive bathroom with luxury Ortigia products, his and hers sinks (I know that matters to some) a fandangled shower that shoots water at you from all directions. Oh yes, I think I will be more than comfortable here this week.

I have never sailed with Crystal Cruises before. I visited Symphony many moons ago, but now I’m about to set sail and experience this little beauty, Crystal Serenity, for myself. I am very privileged to be invited by Crystal and will do by best to tell you, and show you, everything that she has to offer.

The afternoon started with ch*****ne and cocktails, naturally 🥂
It was rather a late lunch. The w**e flowed with a nice chicken burger at lunch. The cookies were chefs kiss! I need those at bed time with a hot chocolate l. Will I remember

My lovely Butler has just introduced himself and bought me some canapés. I’m really not sure I needed those, especially as I picked myself up a Vanilja latte on the way back from the safety briefing.

Other members of the group seems to have dispersed for some deck and pool time, but I’m happy with some air conditioning and a comfy bed for now, chilling in my suite, because I can.

I’m off out for cocktails shortly. It’s White Night this evening, which I’m happy about because I had white diamanté shoes that were just screaming out for an excuse to be matched with a white dress. So, come back in the morning if you want to see the shoes, or the dress, and yes it has a matching bag!
