Strawberry season is in full swing across Britain 🍓

There’s nothing better than heading out into the fields and picking a punnet full of fresh strawberries and serving them still warm from the sun with a sprinkle of sugar and cream.

It has been another award-winning week for some of our members.

Both Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages in south Wales and Hoe Grange Holidays in Derbyshire were finalists in the inaugural Green Growth Awards by Small Business Britain and Hoe Grange were chosen as one of the two winners of the award.

The national competition recognised the top small businesses across the UK using sustainability to innovate and drive business growth.

Swansea Valley Holiday Cottages is set on a fairytale estate near Swansea where guests can explore 100-acres of woodlands, hills and streams. Each cottage is heated with green energy.

Hoe Grange Holidays use both wind and solar power, heat pumps and eco-friendly natural insulation to heat their cabins and glamping pods. Last year they also installed a battery storage system so that no drop of energy goes to waste.
