Hot Talisman Breaking News: This just in at Imp Towers from Pegasus Spiele Games and Games Workshop. 4 NEW Talisman games! The first to be released in 2018. Read on for the full press release:

Friedberg, 11. January 2018:
2018 will be a special year for Games Workshop’s Talisman adventure board game. The mother of all fantasy board games will celebrate its 35th anniversary and the world of Talisman will be expanded by new games. Pegasus Spiele will develop four games with worldwide rights under a license with Games Workshop. The first game will be released in 2018.

The first edition of the legendary Talisman adventure board game was published in 1983 and became an iconic fantasy game instantly. Players are travelling a magical world to find ancient relics, battle fantastic creatures as well as each other and perform epic quests. Once they complete a Talisman quest, players can enter the inner world and face its challenges until they finally reach the remote Portal of Power to claim the ultimate Crown of Command.

Starting in 2018, adventures in the fantastic world of Talisman can be experienced in four new games. The first game – a children’s game by Lukas Zach und Michael Palm (The Dwarves board game) – will be released in the second half of the year 2018. An expandable card game, a role-playing game and a dice game will follow. The release dates for these games will be announced at a later time.

"The Talisman board game has been enjoyed for decades by fans all around the world and is a truly seminal classic," said Jon Gillard, Head of Licensing at Games Workshop. "We're excited to be exploring the world of Talisman through these fantastic new games with our partners at Pegasus Spiele. Gamers of all ages have a lot to look forward to."

For Pegasus Spiele the world of Talisman is not nothing new, nothing still unknown. In 2008, Pegasus Spiele and Heidelberger Spieleverlag published the German 4th Edition. “When we were younger, we experienced many exciting adventures while playing Talisman,” remembered Andreas Finkernagel, CEO of Pegasus Spiele. “All the more we are excited to expand the world of Talisman with new games.”

Pegasus Spiele is also the exclusive distributor of the Talisman 4th Edition board game in Europe and stocks the Core Game and the expansions The Reaper, The Blood Moon, The City, The Woodland and The Harbinger.

Our ‘’Tinkerers Chest’’ was built with both storage and game play in mind. It features a number of custom designed drawers that store every aspect of the game, from the boards, cards and characters as well as our other accessories such as our ‘’Card Crates’’ and ‘’Tinker Towers’’

One of the main features of the Tinkerers Chest is a removable drawer. The drawer sits atop the chest into a specially designated area. During game play it holds all the relevant counters needed, as well as all possible cards required. It features a purposely designed card carrier on the back. The card carrier is designed to act as a bankers board, in which a player is picked at random at the start of the game and controls the cards for that particular game. We have designed it in such a way as to account for all possible expansions being in play at any given time.

Our ‘’Tinker Tables’’ are designed to fit the base game with the four corner expansions, it also has an outer realm that works as a character play area during game play.
