Some journeys change you. El Camino de Santiago is one of them. 🐚

From the Pyrenees to the Atlantic, through rolling mesetas, medieval cities, and misty Galician hills — The Way has called pilgrims for centuries, and it keeps calling.

For us el Camino is a family matter. Antonio and Kevin walked it as pilgrims in 2014. Simona walked it in 2015. And now we guide small groups along these ancient paths, we get to share what this extraordinary route gives back — blisters and all.

Walk with us in stages, from the French-Spanish border all the way to Finisterre — the End of the World.

Buen Camino, peregrino! 🌻

We took our first Caspin group somewhere very special this year — our home town of Gaeta, on the Lazio coast.

Not far from the old town lies a small hidden bay called Fontania. Locals know it, tourists almost never find it. And at the water’s edge, if you look closely, you can still see the remains of a Roman villa — believed to have belonged to the family of Lucius Munatius Plancus, the Roman general who founded both Lyon and Augusta Raurica, and a close ally of Julius Caesar himself.

Two thousand years later, the sea is still lapping at those same stones. 🌊

Gaeta is where we live, where our children swim, where history is just part of the landscape. Bringing a Caspin group here felt like opening our front door and saying — come in.

Should we do it again? We think yes. But we’d love to hear from you. 💙

Join us on a spectacular journey through Northern Italy, Piemonte, a region of dramatic contrasts and unparalleled beauty.

This is a land of rolling vineyards and culinary excellence, where we will hunt for truffles, taste world-class Barolo wines, and master local recipes in a private cooking class.

From the gentle vine-clad hills, we ascend into the majestic High Alps to breathe the crisp mountain air near the Swiss border and explore the untouched beauty of a protected Alpine park.

Finally, we descend to the shimmering Italian Lakes. We will hop between the enchanted islands of Lake Maggiore and stroll the cobblestones of Lake Orta, visit small villages, and explore botanical gardens.

This is a tour of the senses: the taste of fine wine, the sight of snow-capped peaks, and the feeling of la dolce vita.

Piemonte, you never disappoint. 🍷🏔️

There are places that don’t just show you beauty — they make you feel it in your bones.

Piemonte is one of those places.

It begins in the vineyards, walking the UNESCO hills of Barolo as the morning mist lifts off the vines. You taste the wine in the very cellar where it was born and you understand, finally, why they call it the King. - we have also another King in our hearts though … BRUNELLO 😍 but that’s a story for another region!!

We then come to the forest, and the truffle hunt — a dog, an expert, a silence broken only by the rustle of leaves — before sitting down to eat what the earth just gave you, shaved fresh over eggs.

This week we are also thinking of Carlo Petrini, who died just days ago in Bra — the very town where we bring our groups for a cooking class, in the place where he started the Slow Food movement forty years ago. His idea was simple and radical at the same time: that food should be good, clean and fair. That eating well is an act of love — for the land, for the people who grow things, for the table you share.

Walking through Piemonte, that philosophy is not an abstract concept. It is just life.

From Bra, our journey continues through stone villages, underground wine cellars, a lake poets once called home, and finally the High Alps — Monte Rosa filling the sky like a wall of ice and wonder.

This is only the first six days. 🏔️🍷

Tuscany doesn’t rush. Neither do we.

Caroline, Pino and Kevin are out there with the group right now.

Eight days walking the heart of Italy — through vineyards that have been tended by the same families for generations, past farmhouses that look exactly as they should, into medieval towns that earned their beauty slowly and intend to keep it.

If this is calling you 2027 departure is 7–14 June, and it’s still available 🌻🔆

For those of you who have just found us — this is what you have coming.

For those of you already packed and counting the days — this will make the waiting even more exciting!

And for those of you who have walked with us before — you’ll recognise this feeling immediately.

That particular combination of tired legs, good wine, new friends and a view that makes everything else feel very far away.

A Caspin Journey is not something you do once. It’s something you come back to, tell stories about, and quietly start planning again before you’ve even landed home.

We can’t wait to share it with you.

Corsica doesn’t show itself to everyone.

You have to walk into it.

Through the maquis, along the cliffs, into the gorges where the rivers run glacial blue. Past the towers the Genoese left behind. Down to the beaches that have no road.

This is how we’ve always done it.

Slowly, on foot, with people who want to know a place rather than just see it.

You already know you need this.

Morning yoga in Tuscany. Walks through pittoresche landscapes. Cooking with local chefs. Long lunches. Gentle afternoon activities. Repeat for seven days.

Dolce far niente — the sweet art of doing nothing. Except you’ll be doing everything that actually matters.
