And what an end to an amazing trip✨️
Today we travelled from Hoi Ann (very sad to leave) to Danang - its about a 40 minute drive.
Danang is Vietnam's largest city and primary coastal hub, it blends beautiful beaches ⛱️ with a modern, highly livable urban landscape and world renowned attractions, including the Iconic Golden Bridge and Dragon Bridge.
We left Danang and made our way up to the Intercontinental Danang, wow what a stunning 😍 hotel.
With World Class Dining Experienced and stunning views over the ocean.
The private beach here ⛱️ is stunning, the rooms are situated throughout the grounds so the mode of transport here are golf buggies along with the Nam Tram funicular railway 🚞.
The lead in room type here is stunning and comes with a rainshower with views over the ocean.

The highlights for me were the madness of Hanoi, with hundreds of scooters weaving in and out of the bustling streets, as well as the famous Train Street experience. The stunning beauty and serenity of Halong Bay were unforgettable, offering a complete contrast to the energy of the city.

I also fell in love with the charming town of Hoi An, with its countless colourful lanterns lighting up the streets each evening. Staying at the incredible InterContinental made the experience even more special.

The legendary Vietnamese hospitality was second to none, and the food was simply outstanding from start to finish.

Today we left Hanoi for Hoi Ann.
✨️Hoi Ann is a beautifully preserved ancient trading port and Unesco World Heritage Site.
πŸ’žIts special for its vibrant traffic free old town, unique East meets West architecture and famous for its lantern lit rivers.
Hoi Ann is often called the City of Lanterns, every evening streets glow with the colourful silk lanterns. ✨️
We spent a fun packed day with a cycle through the Countyside, a Basket Boat Ride followed by a cooking lesson in a local farm.
To finish our day we had dinner and a site inspection of the Anantara Hotel.
The Anantara is a short stroll to the Hoi Ann's shopping streets and sightseeing spots.
The hotel has a stunning street facing bar and a river restaurant.πŸ₯‚

Today we said goodbye to the peaceful beauty ✨️ of Halong Bay, waking up surrounded by calm waters and breathtaking views one last time before making our way back to the busy streets of Hanoi 🏭

Hanoi's French Quarter is an elegant,leafy district defined by Colonial Mansions,wide boulevards and upscale cafes where you can try the famous Vietnamese coffee β˜•οΈ.

In the evening we visited the Iconic Capella Hotel for dinner, then wandered down to Hoan Kiem Lake, this, the vibrant heart ❀️ of the city that bridges the Old and French Quarters, offering scenic sunrise/sunset walks and views of the famous Turtle Tower.The locals were out walking around the lake. Families and friends, of all ages socialising together. ❀️
We stayed the night at the new Fairmont Hanoi. A stunning hotel with an amazing spa in an excellent location for getting out and about.
