British Classic Week is nearly here! ⛵

A highlight of the calendar, it’s always a fantastic week of close racing, beautiful boats and catching up with friends from across the industry.

Sail to Dartmouth next weekend and enjoy a sundowner somewhere different.
We have one crew place left on Emily of Cowes for a 90 mile overnight race leaving Cowes on Friday at 1900hrs. We should get there in time for a good lunch and a healthy siesta. Cruising back to the Solent on Sunday and Monday.

Join us on Emily of Cowes for this iconic July 11th race. The sun is likely to be shining! We have a couple of crew places to fill on our competitive 45ft yacht. No experience needed, just a willingness to be a team player. Our skipper has been on the podium for this race a number of times. He knows his way around the Isle of Wight 😉.
An intense sailing experience followed by an amazing party 🥳

Back in the 90s when I lived to the balearic beat we would do La Ruta de la Sal every year. It is my favourite yacht race. 200 yachts sailing from the mainland to Ibiza under the Easter full moon. Here we are at the prizegiving in 1998. George and Chang are no longer with us. Little Jamie Smith on the left of the photo is now a master mariner! Tomorrow I head back out there to prepare Emily of Cowes for the race. It will be my first time back in the race in 28 years. A trip down memory lane! I wonder if our course record of 8 hours 13 minutes still stands?
