CANCELLED HARBOUR TOURS AND TWO PORTS CRUISE
Unfortunately due to the weather we have had to cancel our Two Ports Cruise and Harbour tours around Portsmouth Harbour for Wednesday 21st October. Its typical half term weather sadly! We will be back running on Thursday though!

This last week saw Solent Cruises crew member Caroline 'Cat' Frisk recieve her Marine Society Apprenticeship Award at Trinity House in London having completed her training and studies.

Not only did Cat complete her apprenticeship with a distinctinction grade, she did this whilst carrying out her full time job here at Solent Cruises and being a mum of two....

ATTENTION…….please be advised that our Day Trip to Portsmouth tomorrow will be returning from Gunwharf at 1630 hours and not 1700 hours due to Naval Movements in the Dockyard.

MEET THE BOATS! Today is the turn of Ali Cat of Cowes......her build started in 2014 and was completed in 2017. She is the second Ali Cat vessel we have owned with the original being sold to Calmac in Scotland. Ali Cat is capable of carrying up to 250 passengers and is 19.9 metres long. Her top speed is 12 knots (if there is no tide behind her). You will mainly see Ali Cat around Portsmouth Harbour on the Harbour Tours but she also carries our Day Trip to Portsmouth passengers as well as groups for the UKSA. With bar facilities she is a very versatile vessel and extremely popular with the customers.

Boat Master Dan, the King of the Portsmouth Harbour tour. If you have not yet heard his commentary it's superb. Dan has often been asked if he has a theatre background as his delivery is that good and we tend to agree.
