Privately owned bungalow on Gurnard Pines Holiday Park set in woodlands and surrounded by wildlife. Pheasants, red squirrels, numerous species of birds and badgers are a just a few of the neighbours.
Accommodation:
Sleeps 4 in 2 Bedrooms (or 6 if using the Double sofa bed in the living room)
Master Bedroom: Spacious room, king size bed with en-suite walk in shower, basin & toilet
Bedroom 2: Can be used as either twin singles or zip and linked to provide 6ft super king
Double sofa bed: situated in the living room can sleep an extra 2 guests (therefore 6 guests in all)
Bathroom: Family size bathroom with shower over the bath, basin & toilet
Open plan living room, kitchen and dining room
Kitchen: fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, air fryer and full set of crockery & cutlery.
This modern bungalow is double glazed, combi boiler heating & hot water, air conditioning & is ideal for families and couples who are looking for spacious and comfortable accommodation whilst on holiday enjoying the natural beauty of the Isle of Wight. The bungalow is fully equipped with an LG Smart TV - all channels available via Netgem, DVD player, internet & WIFI access, landline telephone, gas & electricity included. Also provided: an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, hair dryers, outdoor rotary dryer, and The spacious hall cupboard provides storage for coats & cleaning equipment.
Bed linen provided & beds will be made up ready for your arrival. For your convenience a small guest towel and bathmat will be in each of the bathrooms but please note that you will need to bring your own hand & bath towels.
A travel cot is available upon request but please bring babies own bedding for the cot.
Parking space for one car (level walk to front door wide enough for wheelchair access). A second car maybe parked a short distance away in the overflow car park.
The site, once a busy holiday camp, is now a quiet residential site, most chalets & bungalows are owner/occupied full time, only ours & a few other privately owned properties still offer holiday accommodation.
There is an on-site shop and café open to the public.
Gurnard village is 10-minute stroll away and Cowes (famous for yachting) is a pleasant level walk, or drive, from Gurnard Bay approximately 1½ miles along the coast.
Please be aware that it is a strict rule of Gurnard Pines Leisure that pets are not allowed on site, this is an effort to protect the natural wildlife (red Squirrels, numerous varieties of birds, foxes and badgers) which may continue to exist in a relatively safe environment.
In short this is a quiet holiday destination suitable for families and mature persons wanting a base for seeing all over the Isle of Wight.
