September is a month of consolidation as the bees start to make preparations for winter.

In winter, the bees don’t go dormant - they stay awake inside the hive, clustered together in a ball, eating honey, and shivering their flight muscles to generate heat!

Born out of an eternal inner child, we always seek to build on fairy tales. Explore the woods that *is* Narnia - CS Lewis’ garden after all is our neighbour. Jump through the Narnia cupboard and onto the Zipwire that takes you to another world. Watch beautiful woodland creatures darting through the captivating open glades, and explore 117 hectares of open woodland - on horseback if you dare. If that is not enough, jump on a bicycle and be in central Oxford within 15 minutes and explore the cobbled street of this ancient university town.
