Basic off-grid accommodation on Jura for anyone needing a bed for the night. We now have a licence for our Shepherd's Hut. For short stays only (preferably 1-2 nights only), this is a glamping experience rather than a luxury stay! There's a double bed, chair, wood burning stove, portaloo, books games, outdoor furniture and one hell of a view of the paps!!

Guests staying at both The Black Hut and The Rusty Hut enjoying their DIY pizza! We have two Ooni pizza ovens, pizza dough, sauce and toppings, just ask us when booking and we’ll make sure it’s all ready for the night you’d like to eat!

For those that prefer to sleep on the ground floor (near the bathroom and avoiding the ladder) please ask us to make up the sofabed and we can add a couple of armchairs during your stay so you have somewhere to sit as well as sleep. The Black and Rusty Hut both have a queen size mattress in the mezzanine and a comfortable double sofabed in each hut.

Thank you you brightened up the place these past few days, reminding us all about the power of community, talking and sharing, to get outdoors, try new things, jump in cold water and of course make and eat good pizza and jump in a hot tub!! A great cause, a fab bunch and I see you almost left with your newest member 🐶 .the.go thanks for your support. This is Bothan Jura’s ‘why’ … full respect to all men, with issues, who make that leap to share with someone else the struggles they might have! What a funny day, getting reactions from old friends and family as they opened the Sunday papers!! We didn't expect a front cover (Home section), that was a nice surprise, must be the brilliant photo from Konrad Borkowski ... or simply that my jumper looks fab against that backdrop!!!

Thank you Annie Hayes for choosing us and our crazy island build for your article. For unravelling a long winded story with so many turns, we hope it gives Jura a wee boost this year and you'll all come visit!
