PussPuss in her favourite spot...vegan cooking for our guests including spicy kale with peanut & tahini sauce, cauliflower cheese without dairy, hasselback potatoes, a vegan beetroot burger with spicy sweet potato fries, avocado salad and all the trimmings you'd expect from a burger with apple & walnut dressing....a cold appetisers plate with baba ganoush, olives, white truffle oil, smokey chipotle oil and traditional olive oil with balsamic for dipping a selection of breads & crudités, creamed smoked mushrooms for breakfast...but all cooked on modern appliances. The gorgeous Victorian range is working but is loved just because it's awesome.

Food for our vegan guest...Breakfast of French Toast & summer berries with maple syrup & vanilla Balsamic glaze. Dinner Apple & celeriac soup with roasted quinoa followed by chilli with black beans & roasted sweet potato, sweet corn fritters, cheesy quesadillas, Sharon fruit & avocado with mixed salad served with mango dressing. You don't have to be vegan or vegetarian of course everyone finds a warm welcome.

A sample from this years Vegan menu listings...

Breakfasts will feature last years favourites, Portobello mushrooms stuffed with roasted vegetables and dressed with a suitable vegan cheese....vegan French Toast...yes really, scrambled tofu and mixed peppers and herbs etc.

Cold Starters
Heirloom tomato selection with mixed olives & dipping oils.
Bread selection with dipping oils
Beef Tomato thinly sliced with sweet red onion layers in a spiced olive dressing/balsamic drizzle.
Avocado salad
Courgette or sweetcorn fritters with chilli jam.

Main meal soup options include French Onion Soup, Lentil, Carrot & Orange, Celeriac and Apple, Minestrone, Butternut squash & roasted sweet potato.

Main courses you can choose from vegan chilli and rice, roasted vegetables & quinoa, lasagne with roasted butternut squash & roasted vegetables, Japanese banquet, potato & cauliflower curry, penne pasta with homemade spicy tomato sauce, Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Black Olives and Almonds served with a sweet & sour salad, spicy ginger kale served with hassleback potatoes, Beetroot burgers with all the trimmings.

All main courses served with appropriate seasonal vegetables or salads.

Sweets include roasted bananas & maple syrup, seasonal fruits served with reduced Balsamic vinegar dressing, banana ice cream with cherries in syrup or other seasonal fruit i.e. Crail Strawberries with black pepper, freshly made Maple Spiced Almond Milk with a hint of Pumpkin & dipping biscuits.
